Pete was surprised when he heard that Amira returned and said,
"Can I atleast meet her "
The city lord ordered the guards,
"Put him in the cell... we will wait for the return of the informant and issue his punishment after that"
Morsh said to the king through the dark voice transmission,
'Pete is imprisoned in the elder city, free him '
The guards first confiscated Pete's sword and then took him to the prison cell and locked him,
Pete anxiously began walking back and forth in the cell,
After about five minutes, the city lord came running with Pete's sword,
The guards hurriedly opened Pete's cell and the lord gave the sword back to Pete,
The city lord kneeled and said,
"I am sorry sir, the king himself contacted to release you "
Pete helped the city lord to stand up and said,
"Please don't kneel, I don't like it "
The city lord then ordered a guard,
"Escort him to his partner "
A guard bowed and took Pete out of the prison,
The city lord said after Pete walked away,
"Just who is he that made the king himself contact me "
The guard took him to a room and said,
"The girl is inside sir "
Pete nodded and entered the room,
Pete's eyes widened as he saw Amira lying on bed covered in bandages like a mummy,
He walked up to the side of the bed and said,
"Are you awake Amira? "
But Amira didn't reply,
Pete sat on a chair next to the bed and waited for Amira to wake up,
The whole day passed and sun sets down but Amira didn't even budge,
After some time, Morsh took over the body,
Morsh stood up and looked at Amira and said,
"Wake up "
But Amira didn't move this time too,
Morsh picked up the water jug from the table and poured the water in Amira's face,
Her eyes opened as the water touched her face,
She looked at her side and saw Morsh standing there and tried to stand up,
But after struggling for a bit she was not able to even sit on the bed,
Morsh said,
"You did well "
Morsh grabbed her hand and threw her out of the bed,
Her bandages tore and wounds opened, and blood gushed out of the wounds, turning the white bandages to red,
Morsh then said,
"You can heal yourself now "
Amira was in too much pain but was unable to even scream due to the blood filled in her mouth,
She couldn't spit the blood so she drank it and chanted a healing spell,
A magic circle appeared beneath her and her wounds began to heal,
After the circle disappeared, her wounds were mostly healed,
She opened the bandages,
Her face, hands and legs was now filled with marks,
Morsh sighed and chanted,
"Dark heal "
Dark energy covered her body and healed even her marks,
Amira said,
"Thank you master "
Morsh nodded and changed his cloths and then flew away from the window,
He directly headed to the holy armor in the forest and soon landed near the armor,
The dark energy has completely absorbed the divine energy of the armor,
Morsh picked up the holy armor and called back the dark energy,
It took him couple of hour to fully absorb the dark energy,
After that, he opened his eyes and saw the plain armor and puts it into his storage space,
He then called back the dark master and knights and took out the pocket watch,
"The sun will rise in 3 hours, this means it took me almost a night to absorb the divine energy "
Morsh was about to fly away when he felt something inside from his soul space,
Morsh's soul was then pulled back to his soul space,
The body fell on the ground lifelessly,
Morsh looked around his soul space and found out that the hole in his souls space was getting bigger,
Morsh could now see Pete's golden soul space where Pete's soul was sleeping,
Morsh smiled and then took control of the body again,
Het stood up and said,
"Now I could forcefully take control of the body even in day but Pete can also see what's I am doing if he chose to not sleep in night"
Morsh then flew back to the city and headed to the city lord's castle,
He then entered Amira's room through window and saw sleeping Amira,
Morsh sat on the chair,
After about 3 hours, the sun rose and soon after that Pete took over the body,
Pete opened his eyes and was surprised to see the sleeping Amira,
"Where did the bandages go... "
He stood up and touched Amira's face,
"How did her injuries healed "
Amira woke up at that moment and saw Pete touching her face,
"How dare you... "
She slapped Pete and jumped away from the bed,
"What were you doing "
Pete said,
"This is a misunderstanding, I wasn't doing anything... "
"I was just surprised to see your injuries healed and checked if it's real or not "
Amira angrily said,
"You were there when I healed my wounds so how are you even surprised now "
Pete scratched his head and said,
"I was just checking it again... I am sorry "
Amira said loudly,
"Get out "
Pete hurriedly ran out of the room and saw that the two guards were standing outside the room and one of them said,
"Sir, the city lord is waiting for you for the breakfast "
Pete nodded and the guards took him to the dinning room,
The dinning table was filled with food and the city lord was sitting on a chair,
He stood up when he saw Pete and said,
"Please join me "
Pete said,
"You don't have to be this courteous "
The city lord said,
"How can I not be with an esteemed guest "
Pete sighed and sat down and started eating,
After he ate, the city lord said,
"So what are your plans now? "
Pete said,
"I don't have any plans "
The city lord said,
"Then why don't you stay here as a guest for couple more days"
Pete didn't reply instantly and was thinking,
The city lord said,
"It's also good for your partner too, she needs rest to recover"
Pete smiled and said,
"Then I have to trouble you "
The city lord slyly said,
"There is no trouble at all "
The city lord then ordered a guard,
"Show our guest the way to the guest room "
Pete's eyes were getting heavier and he though,
'What's happening... I can't keep my eyes open and it feels like I have no strength '
Pete then glared at city lord and said,
"You drugged me "
The city lord said,
"Oh you found out... go to sleep now "
Pete's eyes closed and he fell asleep,
The city lord then ordered his guard,
"Make sure nobody can enter this place "
He then signaled a guard and the guard pushed the dinning table away revealing a wooden door on the floor,
The guard then opened the door,
There were stairs going down,
The city lord headed down the stairs and entered a dark room lighted by a lantern and a wooden chair in the center,
The guards also entered the room carrying Pete,
The guards tied Pete on the chair with metal chains that were glowing with a hint of red,
The city lord said,
"When will he wake up "
A guard replied,
"The drug's effect lasts upto an hour on a first rate warrior "
"So if he's not a first rate warrior, it would take him couple of hours to wake up "
The city lord then asked,
"Are those chains strong enough to hold him if he's a first rate warrior "
The guard said,
"These chains are made with dwarven techniques, they can even hold a master rate warrior for couple of hours "
A guard entered with a chair and the city lord sat on the chair in front of Pete waiting for him to wake up,
Morsh could hear and see everything and thought after hearing the conversation between the city lord and the guards,
'I didn't know the dwarves have this kind of technology too '
'I should have raided them '
A man then entered with some torture tools,
After about an hour, Pete began to move,
"Aahhh " He slowly opened his eyes and saw the city lord sitting in front of him,
He eyes widened and he tried to stand up but was stopped by the chains,
The city lord said,
"Don't struggle, you can't break the chains "
Pete tried to break free for some time but he wasn't able to and said,
"What are you doing? "
The city lord said,
"I am going to ask some questions now, so answer them truthfully "
Pete said,
"You could have asked them nicely too, there is no need to tie me down "
The city lord said,
"I could have if you were able to escape with severe injuries, but you were fine "
Pete said,
"I already told you the truth, so let me go "
The city lord signaled the man with the torture tools,
The man picked up a plier and slowly walked up to Pete,
Pete said,
"What are you going to do with that thing "
The torturer smiled and said,
"You will know in just a moment "
The torturer then puts the plier in Pete's mouth and held his side tooth with it,
Pete's eyes widened as he looked at the smiling face of the torturer,
The torturer then started to pull out the tooth,
"Arghh.... " Pete screamed with pain,
After couple of seconds, the tooth was extracted,
Pete's mouth filled with blood as the tooth was extracted,
Pete spits out the blood as he glared the city lord with anger,
His body was shaking out of anger,
The city lord said,
"Your anger will turn into fear very soon "
The torturer then grabbed Pete's thumb with the plier and said with a smile,
"Get ready, it's going to be painful "
Pete looked at the torturer with anger but his anger made the torturer's smile wider,
The torturer then clenched the plier,
"Arghhhhhhhhh..... " Pete screamed as his thumb fell on the floor,
Blood squirted out from his hand and landed on the city lord's cloths,
The torturer quickly poured a liquid on Pete's hand,
As soon as the liquid touched the skin, it started to burn it,
"Arghhhhh " Pete's screamed as he felt the pain of his burning hand,
The blood stopped squirting but his hand was burned,
The torturer said,
"I would have poured this in your mouth too but you have to answer some questions "
The city lord asked,
"How did you escape? "
Pete clenched his teeth with anger and said,
"I already told you, I was out of the camp to pee when I saw two hammer masters fighting so I ran away "
The city lord said,
"So you want me to believe this bullshit "
He signaled the torturer,
The torturer then grabbed the other hand's thumb with the plier,
Pete looked at him again but only saw a psychopath in his eyes,
This time the torturer didn't say anything but cuts off the thumb directly and poured the liquid on the hand,
"Arghhh.... " Pete screamed again,
The city lord then waved his hand,
Two guards went out of the room and one returned with a chair and placed it next to Pete and the other one carried Amira and tied her up with the chains too,
The city lord said,
"If you don't tell us the truth, we will torture her in front of your eyes "
