Pete picked up Amira and took her under the shade of a tree,
"Amira...Amira...Amira... " He shook her couple more times but Amira didn't woke up,
He looked around and shouted,
"Help!!! Help!!!! Is anyone nearby!!!! "
Morsh said,
"Don't shout... She is fine... She is just dehydrated "
Pete said,
"Are you sure?? "
Morsh said,
"Yes, she lost a lot of water during her vomit "
"Let her rest... She will wake up soon"
Pete calmed down after hearing Morsh and sat next to Amira,
An hour or so passed, but Amira was not showing any sign of waking up,
Pete was getting more worried with every passing minute,
After some time, Amira's eyes began to move,
Pete grabbed her as soon as he saw her eyes move,
Amira finally opened her eyes and saw Pete's face,
Pete's eyes were teary but has a smile on his face,
Pete said,
"How are you feeling "
Amira said with some difficulty,
"It's hard to move... It feels like I don't have any energy in my body "
Pete's smile vanished as he began to panic,
"What's happening to her Morsh?? "
Morsh said,
"Don't call me out in front of others "
Pete angrily said,
"Her life is in danger and all you think is about your secrecy "
Morsh said,
"I don't know her so why would I care about her life?? "
Pete tightened his fist and punched himself in face,
"How can you say something so selfish "
Amira said,
"Why are you hitting yourself Pete... and who are you talking to?? "
Morsh said,
"Yes Pete, why are you hitting yourself... "
Pete looked at Amira and said,
"I am talking to the person inside me "
Morsh said,
"Well you could tell her, she is going to die soon anyway and it will all be your fault "
Pete said,
"How would it be my fault?? "
Morsh sighed and said,
"It's because you forgot to bring food and water "
Tears began to fall from Pete's eyes,
"Arghhhhhh " He then shouted as loud as he could,
His shout contained his aura and shook the trees around him,
Amira lost consciousness again due to the shout,
Morsh said,
"See, you knocked her out too "
Pete's eyes widened and he shook Amira,
"Wake up Amira... "
Morsh said,
"Let her rest... "
Tears were falling from Pete's eyes and he said,
"I am sorry Amira "
Pete then just sat there next to Amira,
He didn't even say a single word to Morsh and was just staring at Amira,
Soon the sun sets but Amira still hasn't woken up,
It's time for Morsh to take over now,
Pete said in a sad tone,
"Morsh!! "
Morsh asked,
"What is it?? "
Pete said,
"Please keep her alive until morning... I will carry her to the city tomorrow "
Morsh said,
"What's in it for me?? "
Pete said,
"Everything I have is yours, so I don't have anything to offer you "
"I am asking this as a favor from a friend "
Pete's soul was sucked back to his soul space after that,
Morsh took over the body,
He puts his hand over Amira and chanted,
"Dark heal "
Amira's pale face reddened and she opened her eyes and saw Morsh,
She quickly kneeled on her knees,
"Thank you for healing me Master "
Morsh turned and summoned two dark knights and ordered them,
"Go collect firewood and make a campfire "
The dark Knights quickly collected wood and made a campfire,
Morsh cooked the dragon meat but ate alone,
He then ordered a dark knight,
"Go hunt something "
The dark knight ran into the forest and came back with a dead boar,
Morsh turns to Amira and said,
"You body is weak... It can't handle dragon meat... So you will eat the boar "
The dark knight then dismantled the boar and cooked some meat for Amira,
Morsh ordered another dark knight to bring water,
After eating and drinking, Amira was kneeling again but her eyes were closing,
She was struggling to not sleep,
Morsh sighed and took out the tent from Pete's bag and the dark Knight sets the tent up,
Morsh ordered Amira,
"Go sleep inside the tent "
Amira said,
"Thank you master "
She then went inside the tent,
Morsh puts the boar skin, tusk and the remaining meat inside Pete's storage bag,
"This should be enough for them until they reach the city "
Morsh then just sat in front of fire with the two dark knights standing guard the whole night,
The sun rised and Morsh took out some boar meat and the dark knight was cooking it,
Amira woke from from the smell of the cooking meat,
She came out of the tent and kneeled down,
Morsh took out the dragon meat and began cooking it,
After that they both ate and Morsh ordered a dark Knight,
"Fold up the tent "
The dark knight folded up the tent and Morsh puts it in Pete's storage bag,
Morsh then dismissed the dark knights and turns to Amira and said,
"I have stored the remaining boar meat in Pete's bag "
"Make up a story for Pete about this "
Amira said,
"Yes master "
Morsh then said,
"There's some water left in pot... Use it wisely "
"Now stand up "
Amira stood up,
After about a minute, Pete took over the body,
He was shocked when he saw Amira standing next to him,
He puts his hand on her shoulder and said with concerned voice,
"Why are you standing, you should rest "
Amira said,
"Why would I rest??? "
Pete said,
"Because you are dehydrated "
Amira narrowed her eyes and said,
"What is this dehydrated?? "
Pete said,
"It's just your body lost too much water "
Amira said,
"But you gave me water just a couple minutes ago"
Pete was surprised and said,
"What?? "
Amira pointed towards the pot with water and said,
"You boiled water in that "
Pete smiled and thought,
'Why didn't I think of boiling water '
Pete eyes fell upon the bones near the fireplace and he asked,
"Where did those bones came form?? "
Amira said,
"Those are bones from the boar you hunted "
"How can you forget that?? "
Pete rubs his back of the head and said,
"Don't get this serious... I was just joking "
He then began walking and said,
"Let's go!!! "
Amira said,
"That's the wrong way "
They then continued their journey,
Since they had food, they just needed water and they found it just after couple of hours,
They ate in the afternoon and continued their journey,
They did encounter couple of low level monsters but Pete killed them pretty easily,
The night fell and Morsh took over the body,
Since they had food and water already, Morsh didn't do much,
He just sat in front of the fire while Amira slept in the tent,
In the Morning Pete continued the journey,
After two more days, they could now see a city ahead,
Both of them had a big smile when they saw the city,
Pete said,
"We finally reached the city "
Amira said,
"It should be a three day journey, but it took us 5 days "
"All because someone forgot to bring food "
Pete sighed and said,
"Atleast I brought tent "
Amira angrily looked at Pete,
Pete smiled and said,
"I am sorry... Can we go now "
They then paced toward the city and soon reached the city gate,
The gate was protected by couple of guards and the guards stopped them,
"Stop, what business do you have in elder city "
Pete took out the adventurer's card he got from the maid and showed it to the guard and said,
"I am an adventurer "
The guard nodded and turned to Amira,
Amira just looked back at guard,
Guard said,
"Your ID "
Amira said,
"I don't have one "
Pete said,
"You didn't bring your Id with you?? "
Amira said,
"I never had to show my Id to anyone "
The guard said,
"If you don't have an Id, you have to pay 1 silver coin to enter "
Amira sighed and took out a gold coin from her storage bag and gave it to the guard,
The guard gave the change back to Amira and said,
"You can enter "
They both then entered the city,
Amira said,
"Let's find a inn first... I want to sleep in a soft bed tonight "
Pete nodded and asked someone about the inn,
They then headed towards the inn and soon reached there entered the inn,
There was a reception at one side and table for eating at the other,
A young girl was sitting in the reception,
She said as Pete and Amira entered the inn,
"Welcome... How may I help you today "
Amira said,
"We want two of your most luxurious rooms "
The inn girl said with a big smile,
"How long will you be staying "
Amira turns to Pete and said,
"How long are you planning to stay here "
Pete thought for a moment and was going to say something when Morsh said,
"Book it for a week... "
Pete nodded and said,
"Let's book it for a week now "
The inn girl said,
"That will be 40 gold coins after discount "
Amira took out 40 gold coins and gave it to the inn girl,
The girl counted the coins with a big smile and said,
"Please follow me to your rooms "
She then took them to their rooms and said,
"Breakfast is free for you, so come downstairs before 9:00 in the morning "
They nodded and entered their rooms,
Pete opened the window of the room sat on a chair and said,
"Thankyou Morsh "
Morsh said,
"For what?? "
Pete said,
"You saved Amira back in the forest "
"I was hopeless back there... I came without any preparations and because of that, I would have lost a friend "
Morsh said,
"Anything could happen in this world so you should be prepared "
Pete said,
"Yep, I will be prepared next time "
Pete then bathed and rested for a bit and then headed downstairs,
Amira was already there sitting on the table,
Pete walked up to her and sat on the table,
Amira said,
"I am finally going to eat good food "
Pete said,
"Yes.. finally I can eat something other then roasted meat "
He then ordered the food and soon the food arrived,
Both their mouths watered after seeing the food,
Pete looked at Amira and said,
"Let's dig in "
They then started eating the food,
Amira said after putting a piece of meat in her mouth,
"It's so warm, juicy and delicious "
They ate the food like there was no tomorrow,
They ate until they couldn't even stand up so they just relaxed on the table for a little bit,
After that Amira stood up and said,
"I am going to sleep... See you tomorrow "
Pete said,
"Ok goodnight "
She then went to her room,
Pete stood up and walked out of the inn,
It was evening outside,
Pete went to the market and started purchasing things,
He first purchased salt, pepper and spices and then some vegetables, rice and pulses,
After that he entered a magic epuipment store and purchased leather water bag,
"With this, we don't have to boil the water "
It was now night time and Morsh took over the body,
Morsh walked out of the store and said,
"Let's see, what this city have to offer "
