When a line of light appeared in the east, the monsters that had entered the capital had been successfully destroyed, and those that had escaped fled back outside the capital and back into the Black Forest.
Everyone, including Cyril, was relieved that it was finally over. He threw himself to the ground, not caring about the opinions of the noble knights who considered it all a lowly gesture. He was just so relieved that he couldn't get back up.
Guren, the witch who had come with General Adelman, did the same after deciding to stand by Cyril's side. He looked at Cyril with the same eyes as before - one could imagine how a scientist would look at the thing he was researching.
