Princess Adel had given up trying to coax Adriana into her room so that she could rest. Together with Adriana, Bella waited at the main entrance of the castle. Adriana was placed there. She only stopped occasionally to stare at the street in front of the door. The person she was waiting for had not yet arrived.
"Did he run away again?" Adriana whispered. She kept her voice low enough not to be heard by Bella, her maid.
"Princess, we'd better go inside. You can clean yourself up first and wait in the castle's parlor alone!" Bella tried to persuade Adriana again.
"He'll probably leave again if he sees I'm not here, Bella!" Adriana stopped and looked at the road again.
Bella seemed to be giving up as well as Princess Adel. This servile woman would not give up until she got what she wanted.
Adriana suddenly stopped moving. Her face brightened with excitement. "He's coming!" she said to Bella.
