Last night Cyril hoped a little because he longed for his parents. When he opened his eyes this morning he would see the ceiling of his boarding room. Or hearing his mother's voice nagging about his bad habits. Or his father complaining about his back pain.
However, the ceiling he saw was still the same as when he was sleeping. A guest room in the Freifau residence.
"Nothing goes my way!" he complained.
He hasn't woken up yet. Blindfolded with an arm, his spirit didn't appear at all. He was tired, too exhausted to move his body and think.
For one day Cyril wanted to remain unrecognized. Can it be like that now?
Cyril rolled over in bed for a long time. After a while, his desire to wake up appeared too. After all, being in bed wouldn't make much of a difference to his fate. Cyril's life security is currently increasing.
He doesn't want Algis to like him. However, by being favored by the crown prince, a safe life without the threat of the death penalty was guaranteed.
All Cyril needed to think about now was how to get out of the knight squad. Because Algis already likes him, Cyril should disappear in peace. He will support Algis and Adriana's happy life.
"At first I thought this character was the male lead, but instead he died because he kidnapped the crown princess. This means that Cyril is only Algis' first hurdle. What a shock!" muttered Cyril as he jumped off the bed.
He took off his nightgown and started to put on the uniform that had been washed. Last night it was suddenly on the table by the window. It seems that the service at Freifau is very great in terms of laundry.
Luckily Cyril had finished putting on his uniform when there was a knock on the guest room door. He looked around and found the maid who had taken care of his bath yesterday.
"Has someone called me?" asked Cyril.
"No sir, it's time for breakfast now."
Cyril was almost a month in the dormitory of the palace knights. There were also maids serving there, but hardly a single servant had informed the knights that it was time to eat. The attention given by Algis and Adriana weighed him down.
"Thank you! Where can I eat with other knights?"
The maid seemed a little agitated. "You may eat in the main dining room, sir?"
Look at how this is treated, even though all the knights are taking part in this rescue mission. It didn't matter if they were useful or not, it felt like their decision to come to the territory of the Freifau family was commendable.
If he refused, Cyril would be branded as someone who did not respect the crown prince's hospitality. While if you accept it there will be a lot of ridicule behind it. Until now, his origin has become something that is disliked by knights, the majority of whom are from the lower middle-class aristocrats.
"Wait a moment!" said Cyril, closing the door again and putting on his sword belt. Then rushed back to the door. The maid looked patiently waiting and would have been in trouble had she not brought Cyril.
"Come, sir!" The maid motioned for Cyril to follow his.
He passed through the hall, arrived at the hall again, then entered the hall again, turned twice, and arrived at a wide, heavy-looking door. The maid who came with Cyril nodded his head at the doorman. Before long the door swung open and the people inside immediately turned to look at him.
On the chair that should have been the head of the family sat Algis. To his right, Adriana appeared. Next on the left is Fearish and Cyril should be sitting after his knight captain. Meanwhile, Borneo, as Algis' butler in the palace stood behind the crown prince, on standby for all the services.
Not even sitting in his chair, Cyril already received a look of displeasure from Fearish. His knight captain's eyes said: Why did you come alone? You don't deserve to be sitting here you lowly person!
Cyril just tried not to look at Fearish directly and focused on his seat.
"I thought you refused my invitation!" said Algis to Cyril.
"How could I possibly do such impolite things, Your Highness!"
Algis laughed.
However, Cyril prayed in his heart that his stomach would be okay after eating. He doesn't like being where he shouldn't be.

Adriana sighed when Algis finally spoke to Cyril. Her guess was right that Algis was waiting for Cyril to have breakfast. Even though Adriana had warned about the pressure Algis put on Cyril last night.
Looks like I have to talk to Algis again later, Adriana looked at Algis and Cyril in turn.
The breakfast started quietly, without a sound. Algis started it, then Adriana, then Fearish. However, Cyril did not touch his spoon at all.
"Don't you like the breakfast menu, Cyril?" Adriana couldn't let her savior's stomach go empty.
It's like Adriana was unable to properly serve her helper. If Cyril had not arrived in time, Ferdinant would not have been saved, and neither would Adriana.
After Adriana asked, Cyril took a spoon and tasted the thick soup in front of him. "This is delicious, princess," said Cyril.
"That's good because the chef will be sad if the food that has been prepared is not eaten!" Adrianna smiled.
Adriana herself had come down to the kitchen early in the morning, determining the type of food the crown prince and the others would consume.
"I didn't know you were going to eat here, Cyril!" Adriana covered her mouth. She sounded impolite. "Can I call you that? I thought you were younger than me."
Cyril looked unconcerned. He nodded and quickly spooned the thick soup in front of him.
"Watch your manners, Cyril! You are in front of the noble prince!" Fearish looked angry with Cyril's behavior. The existence of this young man had been bothering him since earlier.
"It's all right, Sir Fearish. It's us who don't value food after all!" Algis openly showed his side with Cyril.
Adriana knew that this would get Cyril in trouble. What if there's no Algis around Cyril?
Adriana cleared her throat. Algis turned his head and looked at him with a stupid look. Some ambitious people are stupid. "Algis, you can't say that! If you allow Cyril's impoliteness, what about other people. One day you will be king."
Fearish seemed happy that someone was standing up for him, so Adriana thought she had done the right thing.
"Cyril, when a higher noble warns you, then you must apologize. You should be able to behave as you should!"
Fearish has been pacified, but Cyril doesn't seem happy about that. He stopped spooning the food, put the spoon down carefully, and sat up straight.
Adriana knows that it is not easy to win everyone's hearts. However, she had to do that.
