Preparations were being made to leave for the Absouth Kingdom. The most comfortable carriage was sought within the fortress. Not luxurious, but enough to protect the prince from excessive shocks. Other horses were brought in from Miscello, which was closest to the fort, with a few extra horses for Prince Algis to ride.
After hearing the Prince's sudden and semi-coerced decision, Cyril was returned to his prisoner's quarters. He was accompanied by his two teachers, who repeatedly told Cyril that he could trust them.
"I trust you both. So take it easy!" Cyril assured the two men. He couldn't remember how many times he had said the same thing to his two teachers since leaving the main dining hall of the fortress.
"All right, I'm relieved to hear that!" The General seemed calmer after being reassured so many times.
