Guren hoped Cyril would deny his accusations. General Adelman seemed to have the same wish. Unfortunately, he did not share the same opinion. The longer he kept his secret, the more guilt he would feel every time he made a mistake. He was not the real Cyril, and he still resented the incident.
"I'm starting to wish I was on hallucinogens." General Adelman held his head slightly, his back hitting the desk behind him.
"I want to punch you and I feel the same way. I need hallucinogens to stay sane right now!" Guren moved away, dragging himself rather roughly. Then he hugged the protruding bedpost tightly.
