Everyone who heard Ubey's words became tense. They all hoped that what they were hearing from the mouth of the man who had reintroduced himself under a different name was false. How could anyone be sure of the crimes he intended to commit?
"Do you realize that your words are evidence of rebellion?" asked General Adelman coldly. It was as if he wanted to draw the sword at his waist and slash the man in the cell.
Ubey laughs. Like a disease, laughter is contagious. All the cells were filled with laughter. It was deafening and so disgusting. Even General Adelman, unaffected by Ubey's power, was depressed by the sound of the laughter.
"How many of us do you think are here right now?" Ubey asks back.
"We're getting out of here!" General Adelman lowers his command. General Adelman's aides leave in a hurry.
