Cyril could hardly wait to get out of his cell. Every time he heard footsteps, he would get up and move closer to the bars. But when no one came, he became disappointed and flopped back down in the hammock.
"Stop pacing! You're giving me a headache!" Guren finally shouted, pointing at Cyril. He had been trying to sit quietly since earlier and was getting agitated because of Cyril.
"Why haven't they released us yet?" Cyril asked confused.
Guren grinned, his laughter joining the mockery on the man's face. "Do you think it's that easy to decide to release a suspect?"
Cyril knew. There was no way he didn't. What had to be done to release someone from custody? If there was no strong evidence that the person was innocent, then there would be no use for any kind of defense. But he had done nothing.
"Never mind, just sit there and wait! We've done what needs to be done!" Guren gave the order.
