Chapter 7 - Dongiana Burial Grounds.

"You mean they wouldn't plan on waiting because they know the bodies aren't necessarily vampires'?" inquired Johaen.

"They're always considerate, and give a hefty time for Kin-claim. But if what Nathaniel said is true and they actually have lost hope of Kin-claim then this could only be caused by their awareness of the bodies' human identity." explained Dael.

At The Burial Grounds.

"Nathaniel? you sure it's a good idea to stay in our original form when we are almost at the premises of the burial ground?" Johaen said.

"Yea, the burial ground could be the residence to some from the few most powerful vamps that might be existing at present, since it's the best place to relax with not much commotion, people avoid anything related to death huh." Dael agreed.

Nathaniel paid no attention and kept on analyzing the view afar leaning on the boundary walls with Dael and Johaen speaking.

Those scholars are obliged with the duties and responsibilities of the burial ground, but no doubt some of them have great amount of knowledge, and with great knowledge comes powers." Dael reaffirmed.

"Speaking of knowledge, how long has it been since you attended the academy Nathe?" Johaen inquired.

"Seriously Joha, you think it's the right time to discuss this.." Dael taunted.

"Wifey." Nathaniel said turning his gaze on his right, where Dael was leaning.

"And Mr. Husband." Nathaniel added looking at Johaen. "If you both are done quarreling you can go in, to one of those scholars and ask for their couple prayers."

"What are you saying Nathe, we dont sound like a couple at all huh." Johaen said with slight annoyance.

"If you both don't shush yourself this very moment we might as well become obliged to be devoted to the works here." Nathaniel scolded.

"..." Dael seemed kinda confused.

"You think your couple quarrels would be unrecognized by any good discerner there huh? Even these squirrels are covering there ears." Nathaniel added pointing at the squirrel standing near them.

They looked down where a red squirrel was looking at them slightly tilting it's neck high and low as they got silent..

"Why is your wife disguised as a boy?" said the chipmunk sounding squirrel.

"You little!" Johaen said while trying to catch the squirrel, with a failed attempt.

"Let's find a way to get inside." Nathaniel said gazing at the long channel door on the center of the boundary walls.

"Yea, but how? visits are only allowed during ceremonies and funerals or to people with appointment passes, neither of which is going on in our case.." Dael replied.

"Why are you not in your white robe yet? you don't seem like a scholar under internship, but your unawareness about the codes resemble just the one." said the chipmunk voice.

All three of them silently looked at the red squirrel for a moment who was referring to Nathaniel.

As the silence exceeded longer than a moment, the squirrel denyingly said "Don't expect me to help you get the attires from the willow tree." who was being stared at by three different pairs of vampire eyes all at once..

They looked at the squirrel, and Johaen's brow raised slightly.

"Yes the willow tree.. I saw it in the brochures, which I was too lazy to read." Johaen said out of nowhere. "right Dael.." He said as he looked at Dael slightly poking him with his elbow.

"Wha-" Dael said in confusion befor being interrupted by the red squirrel.

"I didn't know the burial ground issues brochures for the intern scholars?" said the squirrel.

"Oh yeaa.. The brochure! The brochure, which I got from the burial ground, and read thoroughly.." Dael agreed.

"You read it? thoroughly?? How were you accepted for a scholar intern with your unwisely behavior, I'm confused." The squirrel pondered.

"This red little.." Dael murmured while controlling himself, clenching his right fist as it's nails getting sharper and fox-like.

"This is outrageous, can you imagine how powerful this guy would be, below his cover of stupidity to be accepted as a to-be scholar hm?, You Mr. Red Squirrel-" Johaen said while being interrupted in between.

"Dahe." said the squirrel.

"What?"

"Dahe is my name." The squirrel replied.

"Yea, you Mr. Dahe are being worthy of confinement of chores." Johaen said what he made up just a moment ago.

"Confinement!? of chores?" the squirrel said worriedly.

"Yes, you handover those robes to us this instant or we would need to take this matter further." Dael replied.

"Alright, I'll get you the robes from The willow tree, but don't exceed the matter please."

"Yes. you do that." Dael replied.

"Mr. Dahe whatever you are doing, please make it quick. We are kind of in a hurry situation." Nathaniel said who had been sitting on top of the boundary wall.

There was a tree visible at a distance. The squirrel lead them on it's way.

"Finally, we are standing in front of the willow tree that will get us the white robes." Johaen cheered. "Which will get us in without attracting suspicion." Johaen whispered so that he's heard only by his friends.

"That's not willow tree." The squirrel said to Johaen.

"What do you mean, isn't that the only freaking tree around here?" Johaen asked.

"Yes that's indeed the only tree around here but-"

"That's not willow tree! than what is willow tree? My head." Dael interrupted.

"No That's not Willow tree." Squirrel replied pointing at the tree.

"That is." The squirrel clarified, while turning around the tree as all of them followed it.

"Willow tree is a Tarsier?!" Dael, Johaen and Nathaniel, all three of them said collectively, looking at a Yellowish Tarsier relaxing on the tree bark..
