Thena looked up at her brother who looked like his life left his body and she felt extremely sorry for him . she didn't think losing Celina will do that to him cuz they were apart for so long so she thought maybe his feelings for her faded a little so he won't look this bad when they finally told him but turns out she was wrong. This brother of hers was really one hell of a guy.
"Hey cheer up bro, it's not the end of the world"she nudged him lightly but Jason didn't respond at all ,he just sat there like a statue. After some minutes he silently got up and went to his room leaving thena alone
"does love really make people this... miserable?soooo weird"
Thena had been in a lot of relationship but she never really felt that special feeling called love. she just dated and broke up when she got bored, that's why whenever people do or say weird things all in the name of this so called love,she got really confused.so she finally decided to not believe in all that 'nonsense' since she never really experienced it ,not even from her own father. Her dad was always keeping his distance from her,she noticed that whenever she tried talking to him he never looked at her and if he maybe looks at her for a second ,his eyes showed Soo much rage and ...disgust?.she couldn't understand ,so she tried her best to stay away . Her mom was rarely around since she seems to be drowning in sadness herself although she tried her best to hide it, thena knew she wasn't happy. she wasn't a fool to not notice that her parent's relationship became sour by the day. what made her even more confused is why they haven't divorced yet. They definitely didn't like each other anymore so why are they still holding on and trying their best to pretend to outsiders that they were okay?

Celina was having dinner with her dad when zain and his family arrived ,it turned out her dad invited them and she couldn't do anything but sit with them.
"so Lina , how have you been?"zain asked trying to act nice again but lina ignored him while she kept on stuffing her mouth so as to not answer him
"careful beauty, you don't want to choke on that"zain smiled offering her some water
zain had dark brown hair ,he was tall and had a very toned body. His eyes were a beautiful forest green and his long eyelashes rested almost on his cheeks,when he smiled he showcased his perfect white teeth and his heart shaped lips curved up beautifully. Celina couldn't deny that he was indeed very good looking ,if only he had even a little bit of manners in his bones ,he pretended to be perfect and caring when their families were around but was an absolute jerk with her when they were alone.
Celina continued to ignore him until she felt the sharp glare of her dad and she quietly took the water and took a sip.
"hahaha,they are perfect together. what do you say Anderson?"Mrs Thompson asked
"I couldn't agree more"Mr Anderson replied
'perfect my foot' Celina thought trying her best not to say anything aloud and get in trouble later
"That reminds me . I heard Anthony's son is back"Mr Thompson announed
