Being grounded means no phone,no friends,no TV,no music and the worst of all staying with Zain everyday for complete two hours. And since she didn't want that she just kept quiet immediately and ran to her room. She closed the door loudly and jumped on the bed crying, after some minutes she suddenly heard a knock. It was her nanny who was more like a sister to her,her name was Samantha but everyone called her Sam
"Can I come in"?
"go away!!"
but Sam came in anyway
"I said go away"
"I will,if you stop crying and tell me what's wrong"?
"you already what's wrong"she said sitting up and wiping her tears
"what happened?is it about Zain again?"
"yes. Sam I really don't want to marry him"
"I know but that's what your dad wants"
"I know but I still disagree,I don't want to marry someone I don't love, especially not that spoilt arrogant brat.i just don't get why dad can't understand me,does he really not care about my feelings?"
"of course he does. He I'd just trying to help the company "
"but what about me?I can't marry Zain and I really don't want to. it's my life, can't I be allowed to make some decisions in it? can't I at least choose the man I will marry?"
"oh Lina,of course you can but you know your dad ,he would rather die than lose to the smith
"How is that my problem?were they not best friends?what I don't understand is why they suddenly became like this and why am I the one to pay for it?"
Celina could still remember that day. she was twelve years old,she just came back from school heard her parent arguing, well her mom did most of the talking actually but she couldn't understand what they were saying so she thought it was just a matter minor quarrel. But it turns out it was not cuz minutes later she saw Mr Smith rush in angrily,he looked so angry that you will think someone just did an unforgivable and terrible thing to him. And her dad came out too glaring at Mr Smith but before she could figure out what the problem was her dad told her to go to her room. In her room she could vaguely hear angry voices and the breaking of things, after some minutes the noise died down so she decided to go out and see what was happening ,when she came down the sight of broken vases and other expensive furnitures and her mom's crying face welcomed her. Then her mom glared at her dad sharply and just said one thing 'well done Anderson' before she left leaving her without any explanation and she didn't dare to ask her dad. she thought it was just a petty quarrel between friends but it just got worse by the day. so did her parent's relationship until her parent became like strangers in the same house and whenever she asked for even just a simple explanation they never told her.Up until now she didn't know what went wrong, right now she just wished what went wrong didn't happen, then Maybe she would not be forced into all this mess
