The morning sun light reflected on her fair skin as her curtain was slightly opened, it was a sunny Sunday morning, Darcy has gotten used to the life over here unlike her father's house where she has to wake as early as 5am like every other maids in the house, she was treated like a servant in her own house, but here at Ryan's mansion she's been treated like a Queen.
she rolled on her bed wondering what to do for the day, when she decided to pick her phone check her social media, then she noticed a notification of message on her email, clicking it opened she was full of joy when she saw it was an invitation for an interview at the wills corporation!!! she was so engrossed in her phone that she didn't notice Ryan come into her room, "'Why are u so excited this morning Darcy?"' Darcy jumped up "Ryan.... I didn't see you come in" "yes cos you were so happy that you didn't hear me knock on the door" Ryan said with smiles on he's faces "I'm sorry, I just got an invite for the interview tomorrow at the Wills corporation, that's why I'm so happy" Darcy replied happily "'Hum congratulations, we should head down for breakfast now" with that they both left the room.
at the dinning room, Jason was the first to speak, sister in-law you are smiling more today whats the secret "I got an invite for interview at the Wills corporation!" she replied excitedly "Wills corporation?!" Jason asked with surprise, turning his head towards Ryan and Ryan gave him sign to keep shut which he understood immediately "wow I'm happy for you, that's one of the biggest company in the whole of this country!" he said trying to act natural, "I know right!, I hope I get the job"' she replied not noticing the signs btween the brothers "'of course you will.... just be positive!'" he added
later that afternoon Darcy was lying on her bed, surfing through her social media when a knock came on her door and immediately the door swung open it was Cindy her maid, "mistress this box came in for you" she said as she made her way inside to drop the box in the table "For me?" Darcy asked confused cos no one is yet to know she's alive from what she gathered for the past two months, he family even held a fake funeral for her, so everyone she knows thinks she's dead
"Yes mistress" Cindy replied "Did he say who it's from?" she shook her head and say "No"
"Okay, leave it on the table and leave" with that Cindy left her room, immediately she starts to open the box to find what's in maybe they might be a clue who it's from, she found it was a cute dress and a note under the box "'Since it's your interview tomorrow I figured you will need a new dress, so I go this for you I hope it fits into your taste. Ryan"' she smiled "'Ryan is doing too much already'" she whispered to herself, "'what should I do to appreciate him for this?!"' she asked herself, then an idea came in! "'I'll make dinner for him!"
She quickly made was to the kitchen to get busy for dinner preparation, Even though the maids refused as she's their mistress she still insist so they allowed her. By the time she finished cooking it was Already dinner time, she was still arranging the table when Ryan and Jason walked in, Jason was the first to speak "Sister in-law!" ""what are u doing in the kitchen robes?!'" she smiled and replied "welcome home, I made dinner quickly freshen up and come down for dinner before it gets cold" Ryan nodded and head upstairs leaving confused Jason.
During dinner, Darcy then speak up "Ryan I made this as a little appreciation for the gifts today" Jason was surprised! he's bro actually gifted a lady a present! "'wow!, now I understand"' Jason replied smiling "you shouldn't have Darcy, remember you are still in the process of recovery I wouldn't want you to get hurt" she smiled and modded, the rest of the dinner was done in silence.
