Natalie Wheeler remembered the first time when she met Frederick Addington. He knew that she was a medical student, then he said that he knew all the directors of the hospitals in A City, and he could arrange a job for her.
Natalie smiled, "You seem to have forgotten Sean's identity. It's easy for me to get a job. It's just that I want to rely on myself, so you don't have to worry about me."
"So, are you not giving me a chance at all?" Frederick said disappointingly.
"If I give you a chance, you will only be putting more effort into it. The more effort you put in, the more resentment you will have in the end. If you know that it's impossible, it's better to snuff out your affection as soon as possible. I want to go to the bathroom before the plane takes off. Is there anything else that you want to tell me, Mr. Addington?" Natalie asked politely.
"Will I see you again in the future?" Frederick asked.
