After the others had left, Clarity sat on the balcony, embarrassed the others had heard her confession to the Ghost.
She covered her head, thinking of embarrassed he must be by all this. besides, nobody would want a girl like her. She was short, and had plenty of mods, but nobody saw her for who she really was, that was true, all except for him...
She blushed and shook her head at the thought. She lit a cigarette and took a puff.
"I'm an idiot...."
"No, No you aren't. said the Ghost closing the balcony door behind him.
He sat beside her on the bench.
"No gonna lie, you caught me off guard with that, but to be honest, I haven't exactly dated anyone for 50 years." he laughed
"Yea...Stupid idea..."
"No Clarity, I want to give it a shot."
Her eyes lit up as the works left his mouth.
"Tell me this isn't some screwed up dream."
"Oh no! I'm your alarm clock, wake up! Wake up!" he laughed again, only to be pulled into a kiss.
"If this is a stupid dream, don't you dare wake me up!" she said pulling away.
He smiled and held her hand. "Fine by me."
They smoked another cigarette before heading to bed. The next morning, the team knocked on the door, hoping to apologize for eavesdropping on them the night before.
"Whatcha want?"
"Hey! Buddy, Choom, Homie, listen, is Clarity around?"
"Yea! She's behind me!"
They peak around the door to see her holding her rifle.
"Wait! We're here to apologize!" the team screamed
She laughed, "yea, yea, come in."
The others entered and sat down in the living room, they apologized for their behavior, and swore not to do it again.
"So.....what happened?" asked Kay
"We smoked, and talked." said the Ghost
"AND?!?!?" the other pried
"Ask Clarity."
They slowly looked at Clarity who pointed at something she'd painted. It was a painting of her and the Ghost. Rather than sleep, she painted.
"AWWE." the team gushed.
"You guys are so cute!"
"Can it before she gets pissed."
They laughed and congratulated the two. Kay put on some music as they lounged for the day, taking the day off.
