Assistant Chao received a phone call to which he went out of the car to speak.
Zhi Xia turned towards either side, only to notice the familiar place, her facial expressions changes.
Pain could be seen, making her tremble, eyes were filled with tears, and she got down from the car yelling, "Brother! Brother!" ran towards a cupcake shop called "Think Pink".
This used to be their favorite hangout place. She, her brothers- Zhi Zhen and Zhi Gui and their little sister Zhi Rui. They often used to come here in their free time.
A person in a black hoodie standing near the bill counter shivered a little because of the calling. His well-built body trembled slightly, no one could see his face, which was covered with a mask and a hood. He turned to leave.
Before she could get a hold of the man in front of her.
"Boss!" came Assistant Chao panicking. "Chao! It's my brother!!!" cried Xia in pain.
"Boss it's...it's not... he...he's dead. Please comeback to senses." hearing this the man who was passing smirked, but a hint of sadness could be seen in his eyes.
"I miss my brother!!!" wiping off her tears she said and was about to move, when the shop owner called her, "Miss this is for you."
Showing the box of hot chocolate cupcakes, her usual favorite one, shockingly she turned to Chao.
Assistant Chao understanding her meaning glanced at shop owner saying, "Excuse me Sir! We didn't buy this", chuckling lightly, shop owner turned to Chao, "I know, I know, the young man over there in black hood gave this to you."
Having a little hope that shone in her eyes, Xia asked, "What? Why? Did he say something else?"
Unfortunately, she was disappointed when the shop owner opened his mouth and began speaking, "Miss, it's just that he bought two box of cupcakes out of whim. One's the hot chocolate cupcake and the other is cinnamon sugar cupcake."
The moment she heard this, she was like, shivered a little thinking that.... It's Rui's favorite one.... She turned to catch that man, but was nowhere to be found.
The shop owner continued, "While billing, he was like I bought extra one, since the billing has already been done." That Mister asked us to give this to you saying, "that beautiful little girl" pointing towards you Miss.
"So here it's. Please accept this." After getting done this he returned to his place.
While both Xia and Assistant Chao turned to leave, her eyes moved at one of the table where a couple were feeding cupcake each other.
She started smiling at the loving scene. Taking the steps forward, the smile fades, her head starts hurting... very unclear images surfing her head.... She can see images of a girl and boy in teens smiling ear to ear....
"Ouchh! Ugh! It hurts!" holding her hands on the head she cried painfully.
Assistant Chao was baffled to this, "Boss! Are... Are you alright?" he ran to hold her.
Only then she came back to her senses and asked him in confusion, "When was the last time I came here?"
"Boss nine long years back", he began to worry!
"I know, but was I with someone else other than my brothers and sister Rui."
"Why can't I remember? My head hurts! Ah!"
shocked Assistant Chao,"Boss Boss No!"said in a low voice and assured her while looking down, not daring to look at the lady's eyes.
Calming herself a little she moved, "Forget it! Let's leave", Assistant Chao who felt little guilty moved before as fast as he can towards the car, while she went back to the shop owner to thank him.
At the longue bar... The cold-man was making everyone shake in fear... Alas he let them go...
"Leave Everyone...!"
They rushed out as if they saw an oasis in the hot desert... ha-ha…
