It came as a wonderment, that the elves were able to find a weapon strong enough to enter the realm, without them being apprised. This served as an advantage to them, as they were thriving in infiltrating a lot of space and managed to seize the important capitals, which served as pillars of the realm. They were well aware of where they should attack, and what stood as the support system of their Empire. It was prominent that they had a helping hand from within the realm, the individual must be someone who knows the secret which their enemies must never and they were after something, something within the palace walls, that was their main target.
However, the battle only took them a month or less to end although a lot died, they somehow managed to conquer the elves and forged a new protective Impediment for the realm. The protective impediment that had been keeping them till someone found her mate.
Sighing she couldn't help but wonder how he managed to do that, the spell they used to trigger the impediment was a very emphatic one, they had their best mysticism intellectuals conjure the powerful force field which had kept them for decades in peace without the intrusion of external forces.
abruptly, she felt a familiar energy, one that was protruding from none other than Elder Burton, it was the energy of a furious light hyde, his entire body glowed white and he seemed like he was going berserk as he was carrying a crazy look, like he had lost his mind. he launched a ferocious attack towards Xavier aiming with full speed and the beast bearly managed to doge because he was lost staring at his blossom. But Burton didn't end there, he created a spear out of his proficiency and summoned Attulac, his beast, and merged fully with it within the blink of an eye he was charging towards Xavier again as he roared in rage.
Since Xavier was distracted Bacillia took this opportunity and snapped out of her daze as the rest had also joined in, Ekila had also resumed her stance.
Xavier dodged his next attempt with little effort and frowned at the distraction " How dare you bewilder the conversation between me and my blossom! " he seemed pissed and gritted his teeth harshly glaring at Burton, who didn't seem to care as he charged amuck towards Xavier, only to be thrown by him without much effort, " weakling!" he spat in disgust as his eyes searched for his mate frantically.
Ekila, after filling her sword with a good amount of mana sent it flying towards the beast harshly as she sprung up and twisted her body also merging with her beast, Alout which she had summoned amidst the chaos between Xavier and Burton. The sword scraped the demon lord by the right side of his neck and ended up stuck between the barricade behind him.
Tobias not wasting time had already summoned his beast and was all berserk on the enemy who was using little effort to dodge their attacks, the only attack that affected him was Ekila's, the scrape she generated with her sword undoubtedly took a toll on him. It drained him of his mana reserves!
Yargus had joined the fight seeing the mocking scowl Xavier was carrying while dodging the attacks competently and wasn't fighting back.
Alrak Blocked Bacillia and reproached her while she conjured up a black mist which she launched at her aiming for her chest in particular so the rest of her attacks would easily work on her like Bacillia had been expecting it she generated a sword out of her light energy and sliced through the attack with a not-so-friendly glare. " MOVE ASIDE!" her voice thundered
Alrak scoffed, " and why should I?" she launched another attack yet again.
The ground beneath her shook and glowing vines crept out from the ground crushing her legs with no mercy. Alrak winced and glared at Bacillia as she summoned her Beast, Shioru, With rage, she delivered a blow and managed to get herself free from the grip of the vines. She roared and made to slaughter her without clemency. being the skilled fighter Bacillia took advantage of her rage and ducked her attack easily as she also delivered a fierce strike that slashed through Alrak's arm.
" kAyaahHhAhh" she cried out in agony, her arm had now almost fallen off, and she was back to her normal form as her beast had busted out of her due to the immense pain. The light of Shangri-la that Bacillia possed was a rear light hyde ability that she had been granted by the Dunamis himself, that leverage wasn't some negligible mastership. It was declared to be the sole light that could Breakthrough even the most hellish dusk.
Alas, she fell to her knees smashing the ground beneath with no mercy, causing minor bone fractures that healed the instant her scleras turned completely black, she scowled at Bacillia with murderous intent. She wasn't going easy on her this time! She felt rage wash over her as her veins popped like it was going to tear out of her skin.
Her wounds had begun to heal the moment she flared all her powers.
Bacillia knew this was all a scheme, of course, she would make it seem like she was helping Xavier and that Alrak was trying to stop her, making her seem like the villain in the story. What was the use of all this nonsense anyways? just for additional powers She had stooped so low attacking her kind? Dark hydes! There seems to be no difference between them and the power-scouting demons.
Lord Cohen seemed to be at a loss for words, his mouth seemed to fail to function properly, he had so much trust in the Empress and still wanted to believe this was all a scheme, but seeing the way she battled with Alrak made him skeptical. He had decided he wouldn't interfere, Alrak was well capable of treachery. Seeing Burton in that pathetic position made him shake his head, he was battling with a fury that would do nothing but make him flunk, the demon had not even lifted a finger and yet Burton continued to charge at him like a crazy dog.
Although with the help of Ekila, Telford, and Yargus he seemed to be less burdened. especially Ekila, who possesses the sword of anguish. Although it consumed a lot of mana just a tiny scrape from the sword could send a being losing an amount of leverage and also send the person into the terrain of great despair, the sword was no joke.
That mighty weapon had been forged by their Ancestors, which only one from the royal bloodline could possess.
