Chapter 99: Arrival
Moments before, Hogwarts infirmary
Susan was still sleeping in one of the beds, Hannah and Luna were at her side.
There were many others in the room. Many people got injured when they announced that Hogwarts was under attack. People can become something close to wild beasts when they enter in panic and as a result, many were pushed too hard or stomped and had to be brought to the infirmary.
Madam Pomfrey and her assistant were working non-stop.
"This is crazy…why are they attacking us? this is just a school." Hannah said.
Luna didn't know what to say about that, she also didn't understand why this army was attacking them either.
She knew that Voldemort had returned, but not many knew about his motivations and objectives.
"I wish Harry was here…" She said softly.
A thunderos sound was heard from outside. The people at the infirmary started to panic.
"Nooo!"
"It's all over!"
"They are already here!!"
Luna looked outside and immediately noticed that the yellow tint that used to cover the sky had disappeared. The sky was now blue, with some orange at the end, indicating that nightfall was approaching.
"The wards have been broken."
Hannah gasped.
"Oh no, what do we do now?"
Luna used her mage sight to catch a glimpse of what was going on at the entrance.
She saw many small balls of blue light at the entrance hall. In the distance, there were dozens of lights of many different colors. And between them, there was the strongest light that Luna has ever seen, she coult not stare for long and had to close her eyes. But no matter how much had changed, she recognized that magical core.
"Harry!"
"What is it, Luna?" Hannah asked.
"Harry is here!, I need to go." Luna said.
"What?, but we were told to stay here!, is too dangerous to leave now," Hannah said with worry.
But Luna wasn't listening and ran away.

Harry observed his surroundings. His intention was to apparate as close to Hogwarts as possible, but He didnt expect to appear right in front of the door.
He also felt something hit him when He arrived.
'Did I hit the wards?.' He thought.
He looked towards the army. Dozen of giants and a few trolls were staning a bit of distance away from Him. They seem to be at a loss for what to do.
He then looked behind him, towards the castle, and saw some familiar faces.
"So, is everyone alright?" Harry asked the baffled group of people.
Tonks was the first one to regain composture.
"Harry!, we are still fine, but wards have been destroyed, You need to come back here, quick!" Tonks yelled.
"Sure, but let me- " Harry was interrupted from what He was going to say by a very paled-faced Amelia.
"Harry!, careful, behind You!!" Amelia screamed while pointing behind him.
Harry already knew that there were three giants charging at him.
"Puny human, Grum will crush!" The first giant declared.
Harry turned and pointed his left index finger at the giant. A small beam of blue light came from it and went directly to the giant's forehead, piercing it.
The giant's death was immediate and He fell to the ground, alarming the other two giants who were close.
Harry made a cutting gesture with his right hand and the heads of the other two giants got separated from their bodies before they could even process what was happening.
Their bodies then fell to the ground making a tremendous noise.
Harry then started to walk away from the castle and towards Voldemort's army.
Everyone who had witnessed what happened could not believe it. Giants were famous for their resistance to magic, to the point that it is seen as folly to use magic directly on them. But they had just seen Harry kill three giants with some wandless piercing and cutting charms.
Over a hundred giants were close by, and they were not happy with what just happened.
Their leader was a giant called Krull, who was almost twice as big as a normal giant.
"Kill the human!, avenge our brothers" He commanded.
The giants obeyed their leader and charged at Harry.
But it was the trolls that were currently at Harry's side, the first ones to attack him since they were closer.
The trolls didnt really cared about the dead giants, but they did recognize the human as a threat and wanted to get rid of him.
Harry saw around a dozen trolls approaching and decided to try something.
He extended a finger and focused a good amount of raw magic on the tip until it formed a shinny sphere, like the one He created at the cave, but didnt dare to test back then.
This time, He did realease the tiny sphere of light and pushed it towards the trolls, expecting to kill a few of them.
The small ball of magic moved at an incredible speed until it collided with one of the trolls that were running towards Harry.
The explosion that follow was something that no one was expecting, not even Harry.
The light blinded everyone in sight, it was like looking at the sun on a bright summer day.
Once the light died down and they were able to see again, the first thing they noticed was that the trolls were nowhere to be seen. Instead, there was a hole, at least one hundred feet wide in their place.
Harry raised an eyebrow and looked at his finger, then looked at the hole.
'Maybe I should leave the testing for later, lest I blow myself up.'
He turned to the giants and noticed that they all had stopped their advances and were now staring at him with fear on their faces.
Harry smiled while looking at Voldemort's army. His green eyes shone brither than the killing curse.
"You all came here today to take part in a massacre. Well then…I'll show you one!"
