Gifted with soulful melodies that echo his inner world, Axel’s life is steeped in bittersweet memories—the absence of his mother, the warmth of shared moments with friends, and the lingering notes of a past that still resonate. “Melody in the Autumnus” also means “Melody in the Passing of Time” is a richly woven tapestry of romance, music, and family legacy. It explores how the notes of the past echo into the present, how every chord of love and loss builds the soundtrack of our lives, and how, even as time marches on, the melodies that shape us remain ever-present—a timeless symphony that binds hearts across generations.

Chapter 1 - The Arrival

Rivers of bodies flowing in a rapid current, Like streams to their destinations.

The heart begins racing the moment the car pulls into the airport parking lot. The smell of jet fuel and taxi exhaust that combine to attack the sense with an image of an escape. A kind of freedom that can only come from airports.

Steady steps through the sliding and turning doors, observing the dark blue stained glasses of the windows that are shut down blocking the sun from entering the enclosed hallways of long dark paths.

Quietly I walk through the sliding glass door entering the main building reminiscing my past trips though it is little different this time because it is a different nation. The nation my mom longed to be in , her homeland.

The warm sun shining through the glass windows as if to brighten the lives of those. within the glass panes. All of those wonderful faces strolling to their respective gates, thus creating a light breeze with every passing body. Now standing in the middle of the crowd I close my eyes and carefully listen to the world around me. Whir of the wing of the plane, the chuckling of the amused children and faint harmony of men and women conversing in the terminals. Now I open my eyes to see what my mind was conjuring up from the tranquility of sounds.
