A loud sound caused by shutting the door echoed inside the dorm. The three ladies inside look at the newly arrived person at the same time.

"What the heck Rica!" the lady in the upper bunk complain. She's patting her chest while breathing heavily from the shock. She was just reading her book a while ago.

Natalia on the other hand was replying to her former School classmate

[Natalia: I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend.]

[Sheena: No excuses, you should come.]

[Natalia: You know I don't like to attend such gatherings.]

[Sheena: Count yourself unlucky this time, if the teacher wasn't hospitalized on the scheduled class gathering there wouldn't have been rescheduling of the gathering.]

[Natalia: No one will notice even if I don't go.]

[Sheena: Don't try to be sarcastic with me, the teacher will be going abroad and thus we'll be having our gathering with him for the last time. Anyways I asked one of our classmates in your university to fetch you tomorrow.]

"Earth to Nathalia!" Nathalia was taken aback when Rica wave her hands in front of her face.

"What is it?" confused, she asked.

Rica sighed helplessly "So as I was saying, girls you should accompany me to watch my boyfriend's friendly match against the neighboring university" she said while twisting her arms.

"...and why should we?" said Cassy who just went out from bathroom.

"hmmp! bitter!" Rica ignored her and went to face Nathalie again. "Little Nathalie accompany this bug sister of yours okay" she said while blinking her eyes.

"Can please shut up Rica" Rona shouted from the upper bunk still eyes on the book she's reading.

"Oh, don't be jealous baby Rona, come accompany your big sister" Rica said teasingly and she get a death glare in response but that didn't scare her.

"Come on guys, I just want to see my boyfriend's match" Rica said while pouting.

Rona: No

Cassy: No

Nathalie: ...

"I'll take that as a yes" and she happily went off to change her clothes.

In the afternoon, the girls in room 301 went to see match one with happy and three with lost face.

Nathalie shrugs it off, anyway it's good for the body to see the light sometimes rather than staying in the dorm after class. On the other hand, Rona and Cassy were bewildered. They don't want to' come along but was dragged along.

"Hurry up! the game started already!" Rica dashes towards the court while Nathalie, Rona and Cassy took their time to walk. Once they reach the court, they heard Rica exclaimed "oh no! the other team is on the lead"

Nathalie noticed the score board, it is indeed the other team who's leading the game. She's not into sports therefore she doesn't know the rules of the game, she just casually glances the players.

The surrounding is noisy from girls screaming at the top of their lungs supporting their favorite player. After the second half the players went back to their benches. The atmosphere is very tense.

"This isn't good"

"We can't lose this our territory"

"We need to change players"

"Relax, this is just a friendly match"

the school's players are debating, more like losing hope to win. They started to re-strategize their plan when suddenly 3 good-looking men approach their bench wearing the university's basketball jersey.

It's not out of the ordinary for some of the players to be late since some of them are from different department with different class schedule.

The game went on as the second half continues, the players from opposing university lead the game from the first half but the team members of Rica's boyfriend concluded the game.

It was an intense game to watch but Nathalia was distracted. It seems like the whole world stop and everything went silent, except her thumping heart.

"Lia! what are you still doing there?" bought back to reality, Lia confusedly went to the direction of the voice.

"Are you sick?" Cassy touches her forehead to check her temperature "hmm, looks normal, are you alright?" she said as she supported Nathalie as she walks.

"I'm fine, I was just thinking of something a while ago" Nathalia reassures Cassy.

Rica who was walking ahead of them with her boyfriend went back to ask them "girls, what would you like for dinner?"

"I'll think about it later, I'll go check the cats first" Nathalia excuses herself.

"Stop!" Rica went full stop one hand on the waist and one hand on the air in a hi five gesture "No fury animals remember?" despite the funny posture Rica looks serious reprimanding Nathalia while Cassy nodding her head as a sign of agreeing with Rica.

Nathalia awkwardly laugh and said "I will just send some snacks to the cats"

Not believing her word, Rica with her arms cross remain unmoved. "Still a no, have you forgotten what happened few days after you transfer her?"

"But I was asked to check the cats by my friend. I haven't check on them since this morning" she's not stupid enough not to know her limits. She loves cats but can't go near them. It was her former classmate cats.

"No, I'll ask one of my boyfriend's team members to do it. You came along with us for dinner" Rica hook her right arm to Nathalia's left arm and drag her along.

"But-"

"No buts, it's my boyfriend's treat so you guys must come along, Rona escaped but you two can't" yes you heard it right, Rona secretly went the library even before the end of the game. Luky her.

The group went to the nearest restaurant to celebrate the game, other player's girlfriend tag along as well, including Rica and her friends. It was crowded, those who watched the game went along to take a glimpse of the players. Who can stop them? it's not like the restaurant was reserve in advance.

Suddenly Cassy whisper to Nathalia's ear "I'll go to the restroom, can you come with me?"

"what's wrong?"

"Bad stomach"

"Okay, let's go" they excuses themselves before going to the restroom.

In front of the restroom Cassy turn to Nathalia " You wait here, I might take some time"

Nathalia chuckles before agreeing "okay, take your time"

Bored, Nathalia check phone, just randomly scrolling screen, but her mind is somewhere else.

She reminisces her last days in high school wherein she courageously wrote a love letter for the first time yet wasn't courageous enough to send it personally, so she asked her close friend to send it and waited in school's garden, but no one came.

She he thought the probability of them being together is high, but things turn out the opposite way. She miscalculated and disappointed.

"Hey! wait" distracted by the sudden shout, Nathalia look at the direction where it came from three ladies facing their back on her are fallowing a tall guy who's back is also facing her.

The girl with shoulder hair length grabs the guy's arm and was taken aback when the guy swings his arm back and glare at her. "Why so fierce? my friend here has something to say. can't you give her a second to say something?"

Nathalia was taken aback when the guy turns around, she has now full view of who it is.

she silently told herself and her hand anxiously yet her face shows calmness like this doesn't bother her at all.

"That's enough Mira" The girl with long curly hair calm down the Mira girl who just grab the boy's arm, she steps forward and tuck her hair to her left hair as she shyly said " Josh, can I talk with you alone?"

Josh remains stoic and not saying anything. Embarrassed, the girl with long hair looks at her friends like a child being bullied and asking for help.

Mira on the other hand noticed the face of Josh, and his not even looking at her friend who wanted to confess to him but to certain direction. She fallows his sight and notice a girl standing outside the restroom not so far from them,

The girl with long hair noticed that Mira is not helping her out, so she pulls her hand and catch her eyes to signal her.

"You guys talk, we'll go ahead" Mira encourage her friend through their eye contact and then went out with their other friend who also cheers for her confession.

Nathalia Noticed that the girl named Mira look at her for a moment as girl with her ither friend bypasses her. When she no longer sees any traces of the strangers who just went out just now, she was planning on going back to the restaurant. It would be awkward to stay there and listen to other's confession.

She put her phone inside her pocket and started walking back inside the restaurant when a voice called out her name "Nathalia"

Puzzled, she turns her head sideways only to see someone coming towards her direction.

"Wait Josh! I still have something to say" the girl with long hair who was left with Josh rushes forward to catch up on him.

"Let's go" Josh stood in front of Nathalia and grab her left hand. Without looking back, he said to the long-haired girl who was confessing to him a while ago "I'm sorry but we have to go"

Still processing what just happened Nathalia was drag along outside the restaurant. They also encounter the Mira and the other girl outside, probably waiting for the long-haired girl. The other girl she was with was pacing back-and-forth when she noticed Nathalia and Josh and pointed them out,
