Su Lu did want to surprise him, but... she could tell that Jiang Li seemed really tired.
She guessed he might have been coerced into this.
Su Lu was cooperative, "Surprise, unexpected, wow!"
"Could you be any more perfunctory?" Jiang Li chuckled, "Okay, I'll come over in a bit."
When Su Lu saw how early it still was, she couldn't help but ask, "Come... for what?"
"Hey!" Jiang Li said, "Do you think I've got nothing real to do? What else would I come for? Of course, it's about the project, you don't have anything else this morning, right?"
