Minuites pass by and mina came back after getting her lunch with the help of Lauren, her new friend. She hadn't also forgot to get some food and drink for Ryu as she believed, he would skip lunch since he has much things to do.
On getting to the office, she raised her hands and knocked. After getting a response, she went in and carried along with her, the pack.
Even though Ryu and mina were not yet considered friends, she still but yet felt the need to get him at least a pack of food with lemon juice.
Ryu heard a soft knock on his door
"Come in" Ryu said in a gentle manner as his mood lightened up when he saw her.
"I brought a pack of pasta and a lemon juice for you. You have to suspend whatsoever you are doing to eat and then you can continue what you are doing. And you know, skipping of lunch is prohibited."
Ryu couldn't help but smile. Her statement somehow made his heart thump loudly in him. She had clearly taken the statement of Ryu, twisted it, and presented it back to him. He smiled and grinned at the thought of her being considerate .
He now understood why his best friend was praising her just on their first meeting and her first day of work. He had actually said so earlier to her because of the fear of her getting weak and sick.
He had already set the rules and regulations of no one skipping lunch, no matter the hectic work they have.
Although, he had a lot of work to do but he decided to order his driver to get him his lunch from his cook Immediately after he was done with his work.
"Thanks a lot mina. I really appreciate what you've just done for me but the issue is that, I rarely eat restaurants meal. I seems too addicted to home made food but since you've bought it, I wouldn't want it to get wasted. There are so many who can't afford to get even a single meal in a day, So I think, I should try getting used to it for future purpose" He said and mina looked at him with suprise.
Mina was really touched to hear his words. She had not really thought he could be addicted to home made food. But anyways, she still thought he h'd some point. He was really something she never visualize him to be and that really touched her heart.
She had seen his kind side and now, she saw his compassion and warm side. She really found herself stucked in contemplating whether he could have his bad side in him or was he always this kind and gentle?. No matter how hard she tried suppressing the warm feeling she always had whenever he stared intensely at her, she just couldn't.
" I am sorry. I never knew you prefer home made food to restaurant's. But sincerely speaking, I really liked how you considered yourself low to the needy out there . Like I mean, for a rich guy to be saying this, then there is more to it. So why not share where you got such knowledge from"
"Well, what can I say than to say it's from real life encounters . I really have not seen hard times in my life but trust me, I know the value of the natural basic nessecities of life and people. In an instance, I despise seeing people struggling for something I know I have the capability of doing. So I don't see any reason anything should be wasted, since there are so many people out there wanting every means possible to survive"
He said and looked at mina who was very touched after hearing his heartwarming statement. She was looking ethereal listening to him with her undivided attention.
Everything that he spoke sounded like a dream to her so she just blinked her eye ball and to her suprise, he was staring at her intently. She felt cold shivers ran down her spine as her eyes met with his.
To ease the unperturbed silence, she decided to talk
"Oh my God Ryu.i swear you are a very good person. I never knew I could ever be so lucky to get to work with you" mina exclaimed after a couple of silence and both of them smiled heartwarmingly to each other.
Ryu smiled at her silliness and started eating the lunch she got for him. Never in his entire life had he ever been so lively and free with anyone. He could not even believe, he was eating out made food . He was hesitant at first but with her by his side, he decided to try it only for her happiness and the effort she put in place to get him the food. For him, she was like an angel in disguise. She not only made him happy but also made his heart flutter.
His thought then wandered to his fiancee who can not even a bit be compared to mina because they are way too different souls. Even though he hasn't really known her, he was sure she would really be what he thought her to be. He smiled once again and made sure to eat every single pieces on the plate excluding even a tiny bud.
