Mary Thomas a tough street girl raised and trained in city of Port Harcourt a city in Rivers state was always the topic of discussion for her people. she had a rough life, trying to survive with just akara (bean cake) and bread wasn't easy, her parents who claimed to be responsible left her to strive alone.
But as the 9ja people who say "one day our hustle go pay" was her motivational quote to keep her moving. Every morning she would wake up, prepare and leave the apartment she shares with a friend she found at the park to her madam's restaurant where she was works as a sales girl, she would wash the plates first before she starts her sale for the day, just sitting by the desk and waiting for customers to purchase the HOT PUFF PUFF and Pepsi was boring to her but it all came to an end when a young guy in his twenties "Eric" came to eat with his sis at the restaurant.
Eric was born in the UK but he came back to Nigeria after gaining his bachelor's degree in law, he didn't want to lose the opportunity given to him when he was called to by the government to work in the Federal court, so he had to return home only to be welcome by his mother's (Mrs Evelyn chiefson) nagging about him getting married.
