"I want to resign from this job, Sir….."
Adrianna's words had broken Xavier's heart. It crushed his hope but he wasn't going to let her leave that easily.
He got up and stood next to her.
"Adrianna, What are you talking about? You are the manager of this cafe and This place truly needs you. You can't leave in the middle." Said Xavier with a low voice.
She sighed and looked at him before she opened her mouth to respond.
"I know that but I can't risk my life everyday. I have two little kids and for them, I will not compromise. After Kelly's funeral, it was on my mind. Maybe, for a while, we all need to break through our barriers to keep us safe." Adrianna was worried and it was reflecting on her slight pale face.
