I stepped out of the bathroom feeling a little better
"Thank God milady I taught you fainted or something," she said holding her chest breathing like she has been holding her breath for a while.
"You shouldn't have held your breath" I smiled as I patted her shoulder
"But you got me worried sick milady" I just smiled without saying a word. I walked ahead and sat down in front of the mirror watching Alicia as she tied my hair up into a tight bun.
"Lady Annabelle"
"Yes"
"Do you mind telling me what made you so upset?" Alicia asked, and I just found myself telling her everything. Alicia was just a couple of years older than me, and she was the head maid.
".....I hate him," I said after telling her about the marriage and everything.
"lady Annabelle if I were you I'll just give it a try you never can tell what will happen" "hmm" I scoffed "I taught that I will get sympathy from you," said as stood up from the chair, put on my cloths and went straight to my bed still sulking
"ok, ok I'm sorry my great princess and would you love a trip to the fountain" I immediately lit up, climbed down from the bed, put on my shoes, and dashed towards the door "Oh no milady your milk" Alicia mumble "what," I asked looking at her
"Nothing milady," she said coming out of the room and gently closing the door behind her. The has been my best spot ever since my mom died. As soon as got to the fountain looked down at the clear water. I scoped the water in my hands and playfully splashed it on Alicia.
"Oh on princess" but I cut her shut by splashing another hand full of water into her face.
"You asked for it," she said as she scoped water into her own hands and started to splash it on me, and within minutes we were dripping wet I laughed and ran around the fountain forgetting about my worries. I was so engrossed that I didn't notice the pair of eyes watching me and when it caught mine I slipped and fell face flat on the ground
"OUCH" I yelled In pain and Alicia came running to me "milady what happened," she asked with worry written all over her face. I looked in the direction where the figure with green eyes was standing seconds ago but it was no longer there. As Alicia helped me stand up I brushed off the strange encounter I just had and went to my room to pack my things for the departure tomorrow and then have dinner.
