(Family: it is said that a family is the smallest unit in a society. These are supposed to be the people who understand you most.
These are the people we mostly feel like killing ninety percent of the time but we would kill for. These are the people we don't have to pretend to be someone else when we are around them.
Family, the greatest gift someone could ever be given. That's why we are happy we have ours and we wanted and decided to show them who we truly were.)
Adrian looked at me and held my hand below the table. He had finally caught up to what I was saying. We both looked at them wondering how do we make them believe us. How do you make someone believe that their son, note, son and not daughter, is pregnant? Where or how do you even start?
We talked through our mind link and decided that we should first show them what we are capable of then we can start from there once they saw our true forms and what we could do. We guessed that if they saw that we weren't human in the sense of the word, then it would be easier.
Thus, after paying the bill, we teleported them to the forest behind Adrian's house. Beau was ecstatic. She had a million and one questions about how we were seated in the hotel room one minute and after holding hands we were in the forest?
"How do you do it? Is it like commanding air? Like saying, 'I order you to open a way!'" She asked as she said in a deep voice and I was glad because she at least helped lighten the mood.
After getting there, I controlled nature and the trees gave us shade while others bent forming themselves into sit-able structures and I swear that killed them (figuratively).
They sat down but we could see that they had a lot of questions about all we were doing and all we were able to do, especially Beau, and we promised to tell them everything.
In a nut shell, we had to start by showing them our forms, what we were capable of and how I am made of two animals and that one of them was female. We then explained to them that that's how I was able to get pregnant.
We skipped the part of us being warriors because we didn't want to worry Beau. At least our parents had an idea of why we were born.
After they understood everything, everybody was ecstatic, especially Beau. She kept saying that she will be an aunt over and over. She would go to father, mom then dad as she told them time and again as if they weren't there when we told her. She was even ready to start shopping for the children's clothes.
It was all so funny... and beautiful. You should have seen mom treating me like a girl asking me whether I was okay. Adrian had to reassure them again and again that we were good for them to believe it.
The climax of the whole thing was when I changed and carried them on my back. The screech and soaring made Beau think that I was a god. She couldn't get enough of it. She also couldn't believe that people couldn't see us.
"How do you create the shield that prevents people from seeing you? How do you feel when you change? Will my niece and nephew be okay when you do that? Won't your u squish then in your womb to jelly? Will we fall form your back?" Such and many more questions were asked by her and she would ask the next without waiting for the answer to the first one.
After flying them up past the clouds for a while, Adrian brought us down by levitating us in air and you should have seen her. She made winged gestures pretending that she was an angel sent by the gods to human kind and that she was flying.
Beau just made the moment this much more enjoyable and special.
Lemme just say that it was a nice afternoon. Better than any place you could think of going to for leisure. Everybody was happy and they were also glad that our family was expanding. I think I was nervous for nothing because after we explained everything, they all took it well.
The low moment happened after we told them that we had to go back to Aska so that Aida can help us in reaching Sugnam so that we can meet my family before I gave birth. Mom wanted us to stay until I gave birth but we couldn't do that. We felt that it was just right for us to let my other parents meet their pregnant son the way they have and Aida had.
We had to convince them that this was something we had to do. We took them home and we planned to go back to Aska the folowing day.
We spent the night in our camp in the mountain and early the following morning, we left for Aska and true to Aida's words, this time we landed just outside her temple, or should I say 'palace'?
By the way, allow me to tell you just now, I am so freaking tired I feel like telling you this story after I give birth but I know you will miss me and that's why I am still here. And I love you lovelies too.
Anyway, I swear I will sleep for a whole week before we leave for Sugnam because only the gods know what awaits us there. What if we are given another trial like we were given when we arrived here in Aska? Ha! I hope it all goes well.
Aida was beyond thrilled when she saw us. Like Beau, she too had started making things for the babies. She took us to the nursery and there were two baby cots, baby clothes and the room had been painted a sweet pink colour with flowers and blue and pink butterflies everywhere. There was the drawing of a yellow sky, a blue moon and bright white stars on the ceiling.
The scene spelt serenity.
She even told us that she is not done with the design as of yet and that when she was done, we will not want to get the children out of Aska. We smiled and we felt blessed for having a family that loved us this much.
She also informed us that we had to go see the king of Aska , Adrian's dad to be exact, before we left for Sugnam. We were all for it except that I just wanted to sleep for now. What with all the travelling, the hustle and bustle? I had to sleep and recharge and Aida
understood.
I also appreciated the fact that she had prepared a lot of meat for my stay because Adrian had told her that I liked meat. For a peson who was basically a vegetarian, doing that means that they really really like you. I respected her for that.
Anyway, allow me to sleep then I will continue with the story after I am well rested.
Perks of being pregnant *wink*. No one will complain that I'm being lazy *smile*
Good night y'all. See you when my tired bones allow me.
