Chapter 12 - Meeting the Alpha

Azrael Herrington ran as fast as he could but no matter how fast he ran, he just couldn't shake off his pursuers, he discovered that the policeman was also speeding in his direction.

"Shit" He muttered as he discovered he has been probably identified as a likely suspect.

Deciding to separate himself from the other two robbers who were also running alongside him, he dashed into an alley.

Going down the route of this alley would increase the distance between himself and the police station, but he had to save himself first.

The two robbers also followed him through the alley, keeping up the pace with him.

"Bastard, don't implicate me..." He cursed when he noticed their plan. He decided to run back toward the approaching police vehicle.

He turned and ran back towards the approaching Police vehicle.

The two masked men paused for a few seconds wondering why he would do that. They dashed ahead, not bothering with Azrael anymore.

"Raise your hands as high as I can see them and drop your weapons..." The Policeman shouted at the approaching Azrael, thinking he was going to hurt him.

"I am not part of them, I was going to the police..."

~zzzzzzzzzzxxxx~

The Policeman electrocuted him with a stun gun, knocking him unconscious.

He was bundled into the back of the car in handcuffs and driven to the police station.

At the Police station, he was thrown into a cell where he landed on the floor abruptly and hurt his shoulder.

The pain jolted him awake as he looked at others in a cell. There was a woman that looked crazy, her hair was spread out like a spider web, and her face looked dusty and crazy as if she had lost her senses and was insane.

Another man was seated quietly to the right, staring at him like he was a waste bin.

He got up and ran towards the metal bars serving as the entrance of the cell. "I am innocent I swear, those two guys wanted to implicate me and they got away with it. My teacher has been kidnapped, I came to file a missing person's report and tell you who did it... I swear I am innocent"

Azrael was shouting at the top of his voice but it was like no one was listening. "Will you shut it already, we also are innocent..." The man to the right spoke with a frown.

Azrael couldn't understand how today went from going good to this disaster.

As time passed, he stopped shouting and went to sit on the bench of the cell by the wall. He looked gloomy as he sat.

He worried that something might have happened to Alex Bayly. He was even more worried about her compared to his present circumstance.

While Azrael was facing an ordeal of his own, Alex Bayly finally drove into a large compound where she was being led to.

Inside this compound were 8. buildings, built one after the other.

The structure of the buildings shows that billions of dollars were spent on these structures.

She drove in and packed as Jude Greystone instructed.

"Alright, get down and meet my master, make sure you show respect okay..." Jude was instructing Alex Bayly like an adult would instruct a child.

Alex didn't let any of that get to her or affect her in any way. She obediently followed Jude and his boys to one of the gigantic buildings in the compound.

This building was made entirely of glass.

Everything around it was reflected making it look like a complete glass house.

As they entered, the freezing atmosphere outside became a bit warmer. There were all manners of individuals moving about wearing expensive wears, especially suits and blazers.

An old man with a white apparel approached Jude and Alex as they came in. "Mistress we've been expecting you, Master is waiting upstairs... Hurry" The man gave a simple bow and pointed upstairs.

Alex Bayly didn't know what was going on, she has suddenly turned from a prisoner to a mistress in the space of a second.

She simply followed the group upstairs to see who this so-called Master is.

Sitting on a Sofa with both legs stretched out and placed one on top of the other, a man with a huge upper body and bulging muscles, wearing a simple T-shirt raised his head to meet the approaching group.

"The Kannais... in flesh..." He said with a bow as he got up enthusiastically and approached Alex Bayly.

"I'm sorry for bringing you in this way, I know my boy has a thing for you. .. Will you give me a second, let me see Jude..." The Master spoke politely while he beckoned on Jude to come forward.

Jude submissively came forward and followed his master to an isolated room. "You've done well by bringing her here, I will give you the werewolf bite as promised, but in exchange, you have to give up any feelings you have for her and protect her instead. She will be my mate..." The master spoke authoritatively.

Jude was dumbstruck. He basically has to choose between becoming a werewolf, which was something he has always wanted and having Alex Bayly, a woman he greatly desires.

The only problem with the latter is that he has no say over Alex Bayly anymore. If his master wants her then there is nothing on this earth that could prevent him from having her.

His master is the most powerful man in the entire Wolvescamp, maybe even the entire country. Jude felt sad that he would have to lose Alex Bayly, but at least he would gain something else in return. It was better than gaining nothing at all.

As he thought like this, he faced his master and nodded slowly. Sadness was evident on his face but he didn't dare complain in front of this powerful man...

"Good, you've always been a loyal follower..." The master patted Jude's back and turned to walk towards Alex Bayly.

He approached Alex Bayly after a couple of steps and smiled at her. "Alex, walk with me..." He commanded. His words were begging to be obeyed, leaving no other option.

Alex found her feet moving before she even had time to gather her thoughts.

"Alex, there is something I want to discuss with you... and I hope you won't disappoint me..." The man called 'master' started to speak.

Alex was looking like she had lost her way in an unfamiliar crowd. She was totally befuddled, unable to understand how he would be talking to her as if they were close buddies.
