"Azrael, I came to warn you..." The crazy-looking woman continued to speak.
"How did you know my name?" Azrael Herrington picked up on that and was a bit fearful.
"That's not the point Azrael, and about my identity, I am not particularly human, My name is Bianca Zul... I used to be a witch when I was alive, right now I'm not living neither am I dead, I'm just an in-between spirit with unfinished business..."
The man to the right of Azrael was listening in on the conversation and turned to look at the crazy woman and also at Azrael.
He put a hand to the side of his head and twirled his fingers around his ears to portray that he thinks the woman was nuts. Azrael glanced at him for a few seconds and glanced back at the crazy-looking woman.
"Uhm Bianca? What do you want to warn me about?" Azrael Herrington asked as a digression, not wanting to get into the crazy story of the insane-looking woman.
"I know you would soon become a werewolf. I also know who your soulmate is. There is a chance she might not choose you... To fully protect her, you would need to kill an alpha wolf named Zuck Danesworth.." Bianca Zul said with a smile and her apparition faded away like smoke.
The Crazy woman was the vengeful spirit of Bianca Zul that was kept in the world of mortals because of her desire to maintain the curse she placed on Zuck Danesworth and other heirs of the offenders that desecrated her forest about a millennium ago.
When Zuck found out about the capability of Alex Bayly to end the curse, the vengeful spirit of Bianca Zul was invoked.
She discovered what he planned to do. Zuck never wanted to lose his immortality, he only planned to stop the monthly torture he has to go through as a result of the curse and also to be able to raise an heir.
Above all, Zuck wanted to use Alex Bayly's blood to kill off all other immortal werewolves so that he would be the only living immortal werewolf, ruling over all as the sovereign werewolf.
After he had accomplished that, he would now go ahead to take his revenge on all the descendants of Bianca Zul, however, the witch was also steps ahead.
One thing that Alpha Zuck Danesworth didn't know is that, apart from the blood of Alex Bayly that could make him mortal, there was something else that could kill him, and that is the bite from the werewolf form of Azrael Herrington.
When the immortal curse was created, nature also created a nemesis. Azrael Herrington was that nemesis. If he hadn't activated the werewolf curse, he wouldn't have been in the position, but now that he has, he became the nemesis of the curse by Bianca Zul.
A bite from Azrael is so fatal as to kill all the immortal werewolves cursed by Bianca Zul.
Bianca discovered this phenomenon even before Azrael turned and decided to set up a ploy that would cause him to fight Zuck Danesworth.
It was an ingenious plan, the only flaw was Azrael himself. His only thought was on Alex Bayly, everything else was a blur to him. So he won't particularly be interested in anything else like fights or vengeance.
Watching the apparition disappear, Azrael was startled when he discovered that this vengeful spirit might have been telling the truth all along. It freaked him even more to what detail she knew about his life.
The other man to the right was freaked out when he saw the vengeful spirit of Bianca Zul disappear, what freaked him out, even more, was how composed Azrael Herrington was.
The way Azrael remained composed and the way Bianca Zul's vengeful spirit vanished, made it seem like they both were some kind of otherworldly pair.
The man started to vibrate as he looked at Azrael Herrington as if he was some kind of monster. He moved father back to the wall of the cell while he occasionally glanced at Azrael.
Seeing his reaction, Azrael felt unsure of how to respond. " Please, I don't know that woman, don't mind her words..." Azrael was trying to explain but the poor man was too freaked out to care.
While he was almost losing it, a policeman came to open the entrance metal door of the cell. He then pointed to Azrael, "You, come with me..." Azrael looked at the policeman for a few seconds before he got up and walked towards him.
The other man in the cell didn't even initiate eye contact. He was too scared to care about who was doing what.
Azrael glances at him before shaking his head and following the policeman out of the cell.
The Policeman led Azrael Herrington to the waiting area filled with a lot of new cases and new suspects or arrests being brought-in in handcuffs.
As he walked further out, he saw his teacher and soul mate- Alex Bayly, waiting anxiously, he also saw Jude Greystone and his boys behind him
'Why did they come here?' He wondered as he kept following the Policeman.
The Policeman walked up to Jude and Alex Bayly and then turned back to Azrael as he asked a question, "This is the Azrael Herrington we have in lock up, is he the one you seek?"
Azrael was shocked when he heard that, but before he could gather his thought, Alex Bayly dashed toward him in a half sprint. She nearly jumped on him.
"Are you okay?" She said, checking every part of his body. "Why is he handcuffed?" She shouted at the Policeman.
The Policeman was caught in the middle, he looked towards Jude Greystone and then his boss who stood aloof in a corner, waiting for an order.
"Release him..." The Police boss commanded after getting a nod from Jude. The Policeman then came closer and unlocked the cuffs, removing them from Azrael's hands.
Alex Bayly held him tightly like he would disappear in the next second,, even Azrael was surprised by her unusual affection.
Jude was almost jealous, he would have even confronted her if his boss hadn't warned him to not only see her as his future bride but to also give her due respect. He dared not offend her.
He just watched the pair jealously as they stared into each other's eyes. He wasn't worried about their affection because he knew that Azrael was just human, he was powerless against what was to come.
For almost 10 minutes, Alex Bayly stood holding Azrael with both of her arms and staring into his eyes. He also couldn't understand what was going on.
.
"Kannais, it's time to go home..." Jude said, breaking the awkward silence. He then turned and left with his boys.
"Are you now working with him?" Azrael asked in curiosity.
Alex Bayly was perceptive of the way Azrael spoke to her. It wasn't exactly any different than how people who consider themselves friends or colleagues would address themselves. She wanted to talk about that but she found herself unbothered by that, in fact, she even liked it.
"No, he just helped me to find you..." Alex Bayly responded. She then turned and started to walk out of the police station.
Azrael wanted to ask more questions, but on seeing her walk out, he shelved them aside and followed her.
