Miss Alex Bayly stared down at Azrael Herrington for a while. He was indeed captivating to behold.
"Take a seat," Alex said in a dull tone. She had no attached emotion. One couldn't even tell if she was angry or just indifferent.
The Principal was also a bit affected by her nonchalance, but he didn't dare complain. He was just getting to a point where she appeared to be comfortable around him, he wouldn't want to mess things up again.
The Principal turned shortly after and left.
Azrael felt like an unwanted guest in a new home. Step, Step, Step... He walked down the middle of two rows of desks.
The other students were adoring his looks. He was so handsome, he had the qualifications to be a model celebrity.
He flipped back his amazing sleek black hair as he walked to an empty spot. The spot was formerly occupied by Jude.
He sat down and looked up towards the teacher only to find her staring back.
Alex looked away immediately and cleared her throat.
"Errrmmmm, So I gave you guys an assignment yesterday, and disappointingly none of you did as I expected. I asked you to write a comprehensive description of your weekend,
" This is a work that even toddlers should be able to do easily, however, I don't know if it's because some of you are hard of hearing or just don't know how to read and understand, you all wrote complete rubbish...." Alex was ranting on and on as she placed her hands on a pile of books to her left on the table in front of her.
She called the class captain to distribute the books while she continued to teach. Azrael watched her with fascination.
The other students didn't dare poke fun. She had just banished Jude, the class thug without so much as a concern for what could happen later.
They had never seen Alex Bayly so angry. They didn't want to also be sent out of the class. After all, not all of them had rich parents like Jude who could protect and provide better opportunities and endless resources.
A couple of hours passed quickly and school finally ended. Immediately the bells went off to signify the end of school, the entire classroom started to empty out as students poured out to meet their parents or go home by themselves.
In the staff room, Alex Bayly was by her cubicle working. she was scribbling down some notes for a new class, while also checking the internet to do some research.
By the time she looked up, the staff room was almost empty. Most of the teachers had gone home.
Mr. Weasel got up and was going away with Miss Jane immediately their eyes connected. He was trying to get her to be jealous. He had been staring at her the whole time while she buried her head in work, but for the space of time for which she lifted up her head, he pretended to be going home with Jane.
Alex Bayly didn't bother looking anymore and continued to work. A while later she wrapped up her work and packed up her bag.
After setting her desk in order, she marched out of the staff (teachers) room and building, and she locked the door behind her with her key copy. Every teacher had one.
As soon as she left the staff building, heavy rain started to pour down all of a sudden. Her car was parked in the car park which was a bit distant from where she was.
"Shit..." She cursed as she observed the heavy down-pouring rain. The rain pelted continuously as it soaked every inch of the open soil.
Just as she was contemplating on how to get to her car, she noticed that someone else was around.
She looked closely at the figure in the distance and saw that the individual was calling for her to come.
She noticed that there was a connecting veranda that led to this figure. She followed the veranda towards the figure while holding her bag tightly, and that was when she saw the face of the figure.
"You're Azrael, right? Why are you still in school?" Alex Bayly was instantly curious about this new student who was still in school at this hour.
"Hello Miss Alex, Uhm I don't have anywhere to stay, My aunt was supposed to lodge me in her house but she traveled by the time I got here, she is likely to be back tomorrow or two days later. I didn't have anywhere to go, so I was hoping I just stay in school and figure out my next move. That was when I saw you and wanted to wave." Azrael explained.
Alex was quiet as she watched this teenager. He was 17 years old according to his record but he looks like he was 23. He had a mature-looking body, which was very muscular and seems very decent as compared to most guys she has seen.
Miss Alex thought it over in her mind, 'What is the harm? He is just a teenager, I could have him over in my house with no qualms. I will just treat it like I'm helping a child'
"You could stay with me if you want..." Miss Alex suggested as she looked at the student who was stupefied.
Azrael Herrington had heard stories of the single hot teacher and how standoffish she was, he had even heard descriptions that labels her as an uncaring demon who has no soul, so it surprised him greatly to see that this same individual was offering him a space to stay and in her house no less.
"Miss Alex... I..." Azrael was shocked as he looked at her. "I am eternally grateful to you..." He completed.
Alex Bayly nodded. "Now come on, let's get to my car, the rain seems to have reduced in intensity..."
The downpour was heavy and it seemed it wasn't going to stop completely, so they had to risk entering the rain.
~patter, patter, patter~
The pair splashed water that had gathered to form small puddles just after the continuous downpour as they rushed towards the red Honda car of Miss Alex Bayly.
Miss Alex reached into her bag and got the keys, she then pressed the unlock button to unlock the car,

The car unlocks and they both got in from either side into the car. The air was freezing for both parties as they rushed into the enclosure that reduced the cold by a great deal.
Azrael felt relieved and more so grateful to Alex Bayly who was the last person he would expect such kind treatment from.
Alex Bayly starts the engine and reverses out of her packed space while heading for the gate.
