Regarding what Simon had said to him earlier, Mace sighed repeatedly. He was perplexed as to why he had accepted the wager. He groaned. Isn't it Simon's responsibility to bring his luna to the pack? He picked up his phone and called Lisa, but she didn't pick up. This was the first time, which made Mace wonder if she was busy or had fallen out of love with him. In the past, if he had called, she would have answered and been willing to talk to him despite her busy schedule.
