Avery and Cornelia both gasped as they stared at Scarlett. "What? When? How? Why?" Avery said. "What is all this about? When did this happen? How come I didn't see the marks? Why are you just saying this?" she added.
Scarlett made a small frown. "Seriously? You had to make sentences with those?" Avery shrugged, and Scarlett exhaled. "At first, I didn't think anything of it. I saw it the night we were going back home from the club. I thought it was strange, but now it is even stranger."
"Wow. So you're still unsure of how the marks appeared?" Cornelia asked.
"Scarlett groaned. "You are slow, Cornel, but yes, I still don't know."
"So what will you do with the result now that you know what really happened?" Avery gave Scarlett two copies that she had printed out.
