Putting down an assault rifle in its position, Augusta suddenly remembered something strange. She turned to look at Philip. "The Alpha has been quiet lately, don't you think?"
Philip took a deep breath. "Ever since the last two full moons, we haven't even smelled him lurking about."
"Not even the beta who attacked me." Augusta approached Philip. "What should we do about that? Draw them out?"
"It is a good thing. They are out of town. That is all I want."
"What is the fun in that? Besides, we don't know if they are really out of town. What if they are disgusted and are preparing a way of a comeback?"
"We have tried to draw them out by attacking one of them, and that didn't make them start a war. It is over. We won." Phillip turned to look at his daughter. "And that is the end of that." He walked away from the weapon room, taking a deep breath as he moved towards the living room.
