"Shall we go now?" Mia ran to Scarlett with a smile.
"I don't know dressing up takes that long for a girl your age." Scarlett inspected her face. "Is that makeup you are wearing?"
Mia placed her hand on her lips. "Shh. Mom can't find out."
"That you have a boyfriend?"
"No." Mia made a face that said the exact opposite.
"Spill it, Mia. Who is he? The way I see things, he isn't dating you yet, so you are trying to impress him. I can help you if you tell me."
Mia rolled her eyes. "I am not going to tell you anything. Let's go." She dragged Scarlett along as they walked out of the house. As Scarlett climbed into the car, she made sure her sister was secure before turning the key. She drove straight to where the festival was happening.
Scarlett halted the car and glanced at her sister. "You shouldn't leave my side."
"Trust me. I wasn't planning to. I plan to stick to you like glue would."
