The continuous ringing of the doorbell made Scarlett run to the door. She knew who it was. Tucker. Since breakfast was over, Scarlett had been checking the time often. Waiting for the evening to arrive so Tucker can show up.
"Sitting down there won't let the clock hands go any faster." Avery had said.
"It is her first date with Tucker; let her enjoy it." Cornelia had said.
"It is not a date. Tucker just wanted to make her leave the house." Avery had added.
Scarlett glared at her with an angry look. "He liked me. I like him. He asked to take me out, and I accepted. Definitely a date." She had picked an outfit that wasn't all exposed, and underneath it was her bikini.
When Scarlett opened the door, she ran straight into Tucker's arms. "I have been waiting. It was as if evening didn't want to come around."
Tucker slowly released her. He looked at her face, which was only a few inches away from his. "Well. I am here now, Scarlett. Am I not?"
"You look so handsome."
