"It's raining, Avery. Scarlet isn't back yet. She left 14 hours ago, and the full moon is staring at me!" Cornelia panicked from left to right. She turned around to look at Avery. "She took her phone, right?"
"Of course. You should always take your phone when you go for a hike." Avery dialed Scarlett's number, but they could hear her ringtone coming from somewhere around the room. Cornelia found where the sound was coming from and took it out.
"Great. She left her phone here. How on earth do we find her now?"
"Stop panicking. She might have gone to the greenhouse to lock herself up."
Cornelia rolled her eyes. "As if she will do that."
"We should check first." She opened Scarlett's closet and picked out two raincoats and rain boots. As Avery and Cornelia walked out of the room, they held two touch lights in their hands. Getting out of the mansion, the rumbling of thunder increased and the rain fell heavily.
"Are you sure we should still head out? The rain is heavy."
