Scarlett zipped up her jacket and reached for her boots. As she placed them into her legs, she looked up at her friends. "I will be going for a hike."
"But you have never hiked. What is going on, Scarlett? Are you nervous about tonight?" Avery asked.
"We have 14 hours left and I would love to make the most of it." She walked to the door and turned around. "You guys should not worry. I will be home soon. Raven is under control too." She walked out of the room.
On her way to the woods, Scarlett took a deep breath. "We shouldn't worry. No one knows what we are. Simon and Viggo aren't here either." She said to Raven.
"I still don't feel so good about it."
