Chapter 237 - Battle at Headquarters (2)

"Wesley, slow down," Phil Coulson said from Wesley's left. Wesley looked back and saw that Fitz, Simmons, and Sky were already panting.

Their formation placed the three of them at the rear, while Melinda and Phil Coulson were in charge of Wesley's flanks. Wesley was completely in charge of speed, and most of the attacking personnel at the front were taken down by Wesley. This way, it should be easy to go back.

Taking the team behind an equipment box, Wesley asked, "Are you three nervous? You've only taken a few steps and you're already tired?" They crouched down. Phil Coulson and Melinda were in charge of guarding the three rookies on both sides.

"I'm a little nervous," Fitz said. The three of them were a little out of breath. Wesley smiled when he heard that. Then he turned around and suddenly stood up and fired several shots outside. Several Hydra members who wanted to get close to them were hit and their offensive stopped.

"Drink some water and then we'll set off again. The cleanup here is almost done. The factory is the main point. Adjust your breathing. You're only responsible for the back. There won't be many enemies." Wesley reloaded the magazine and then got up again. Hydra's people all took cover. Wesley swung his arms and bullets flew in an arc.

The remaining Hydra members began to retreat. There were not many of them left, and these people were ready to retreat back to the factory. The internal helipad was connected to the factory, and there were several passages through which they could pass. Wesley and the others chose to break through to the central position. The space here was relatively not open, and there was a lot of equipment and boxes to use for cover.

While Wesley and the others were taking a short break, the command center was in chaos. Brock Rumlow cunningly lowered his pistol and wounded Sharon Carter with the dagger on his right leg when she wasn't looking. As he moved, Hydra members opened fire and the agents fired back at the same time.

For a moment, chaos filled the huge command center. Brock Rumlow wanted to take the opportunity to enter the startup program, but at this moment, there was a crisp sound, and the computer monitor and keyboard in front of him were broken into pieces. Victoria Hand rushed in with her men and immediately stopped Brock Rumlow's actions.

"Retreat." Brock Rumlow hurriedly lowered his body and retreated to the other side on his hands and knees under the table. There were not many people in Hydra. They were killed by Victoria Hand's people, and the rest desperately covered Brock Rumlow and escaped.

"The people in the room will be examined and confirmed that they are not Hydra's people. You will be free. No one is allowed to act rashly." Victoria Hand shouted cautiously, then turned back and said to the people behind, "Set up a defense line here and don't let anyone rush in. If you want to come in, you have to be confirmed first."

"Yes." The few agents behind him immediately established a defense line, and Victoria Hand asked someone to go to the other side before she began to identify them. The tablet computer took photos of the people in the hall of the command center one by one and then automatically eliminated them.

After being excluded, Sharon Carter was directly treated. Then, she stood up and went to Victoria Hand's side and asked, "Sir, do we need to go to support?"

"No, we will guard this place and receive our people. Are you a staff member here? Can you contact the monitoring room?"

"Sure." Sharon Carr hurriedly found a computer that was not damaged and then contacted the monitoring room. Maria Hill appeared on the screen.

Victoria Hand said hurriedly, "Sir, the command center is secure."

"Understood. I will broadcast it to everyone. If it is our people, I will let them gather at your place. When there are enough people, they will attack outward. Captain America is attacking downward."

"Yes."

Steve Rogers moved down the stairs with Natasha Romanoff and Sam Wilson. They had no intention of capturing Alexander Pierce. Instead, they wanted to get close to the command center. Maria Hill began to contact them. The command center had been taken and was now safe.

Steve Rogers threw the shield in his hand, and it bounced around in the stairwell. His use of it was indeed simple and crude, and it did not conform to the laws of physics, but it was very useful, especially in narrow places.

After a few ricochets, most of Hydra's personnel were knocked unconscious. Natasha Romanov sat on the armrest and slid down. When she encountered a missed target, she jumped up and wrapped her legs around the other party's head. Then, she swung her upper body hard. In such a small place, she could still be so agile.

Sam Wilson couldn't use it at all. He couldn't fly here anymore and could only run all the way down.

When Wesley and the other three rookies were breathing evenly, they took the lead again and ran all the way to the connecting passage in the center position. There were no more Hydra people on the internal tarmac, and the SHIELD personnel were concentrated together. They did not escape or hide, but found a passage to the factory and attacked there.

Wesley didn't lean over. This wasn't the time to distinguish friend from foe. He didn't have the time, so he avoided them and leaned his body against the wall next to the entrance to the passage. Then he stuck his head out, glanced around, and immediately pulled back.

The storm-like bullets splashed over. The opposite side of the passage was full of people. All the passages were probably the same. Hydra was guarding the factory strictly.

"Stay away from me. Don't get hit by stray bullets. I'm going to charge." Wesley put away his two guns and then the armor appeared on his body. After Phil Coulson and others found cover, he stood directly at the entrance of the passage.

Clang! Clang! Clang! Like a heavy rain, countless bullets hit Wesley's armor, but they were of no use at all. Wesley was actually very happy, because heavy weapons were not allowed in the factory and tarmac, including grenades. All heavy weapons were not allowed in. This was stipulated by safety regulations.

He raised his arms and the shock wave from his palms was launched. With two booms, the entrance to the opposite passage was emptied. Wesley's armor thrusters were activated and he instantly passed through the passage and arrived at the opposite door.

The muffled sound of machine gun fire made Wesley lose his balance and take a few steps back. He looked up and saw that several F-35s had stopped on the factory floor and were firing wildly at his position.

There seemed to be a slight buzz in the air. Wesley did not take out his energy gun, but took out the rotating axes that he had not used before. The ends of the two rotating axes floated on the back of the armored palm. Then Wesley shook his arms slightly, and the two axes spun.
