Chapter 211 - Test

Wesley and Phil Coulson chatted for a while, then went to the lab on the first floor. Fitz and Simmons were in the lab, while Sky was in the living room on the second floor. As they passed the living room, Wesley said, "Skye, follow me."

"What is it?" Sky asked, looking up.

"I came back today to test your training standards. You didn't do nothing for a month, did you?" Wesley looked at Sky strangely.

"How is that possible? Although you left me here, I have always insisted on training. I have never been lazy."

"That's good." Wesley nodded and went down first, followed by Sky.

In the three-story lab, Fitz was taking care of the stun guns. After Wesley walked in, he glanced at the stun guns on the table and picked one up at random to feel it. "Not bad. Weight is up to standard."

Fitz said happily: "I went to a lot of trouble to lose twenty-five grams of weight. Am I up to standard now?"

"Yes, it has indeed reached the standard and can be mass-produced." Wesley nodded in agreement and then said, "Now you and Simmons and Sky come with me. I want to see the results of your one month of training. I hope you won't be lazy. Come with me!"

Wesley brought the three of them to the shooting range at headquarters and asked them to stand in position. Wesley went to pick out three Glock 22 pistols and magazines and placed them in front of the three of them.

"Now start disassembling the guns, then assemble them and shoot continuously. Remember, it's continuous shooting. Are you ready?" Wesley said. The three of them nodded and did not look worried at all.

"Begin!" Wesley was counting down with a stopwatch. He observed the movements of the three.

Sky was the fastest, followed by Fitz, and lastly Simmons, but all three of them were very coherent. Wesley had not given them guns to disassemble and assemble so that they could train. Today's segment was just Wesley's test. The result was satisfactory. Wesley was very pleased that the three of them were able to consciously understand firearms. They were indeed growing.

The guns were assembled with a click, then loaded with magazines and loaded with bullets. The three of them began to fire continuously. However, because of their training, during their continuous shooting process, there was a slight adjustment to each shot with a raised arm. Wesley had developed this habit for them. Even if they fired continuously, they still had such small movements.

This kind of movement did not matter when they first learned it, but they would be at a disadvantage in actual combat in the future. Wesley knew this very well, but this habitual travel time was not long, and it could assist their shooting. It was still very useful in the early stages.

"Bada." Wesley pressed the stopwatch. The completion time of the three people was basically within two and a half minutes. It was not outstanding, but it was enough to pass, especially for the disassembly and installation of firearms. They had not trained for long.

"Not bad, the three of you are qualified to carry guns, but the training is still not enough, especially the disassembly and assembly of firearms. This is what you trained. Although I am very happy, the intensity of the training is not enough. Every morning, your training is to disassemble and assemble, then shoot continuously. Each person gets twenty magazines every day."

"A gun?" Sky was used to training, but the gun thing shook her up. "Does that mean I'm already an agent?"

"No, it has nothing to do with that. You still haven't met the requirements of an agent, and the three of you are only equipped with guns under the technical staff equipment regulations."

When Sky heard this, he immediately became depressed again. Wesley waved his hand and asked Fitz and Simmons to leave. Then he came to her side and held her hand. "Don't worry. How long have you been with SHIELD?"

"I just want to know sooner. The closer I am, the more anxious I am."

"I understand this, but since you want to be an agent, you have to be patient. The things SHIELD is involved in are not ordinary events, so your affairs must be very mysterious. I think you already know this, so your parents must not be ordinary people, so you better be mentally prepared."

"What preparation?" Sky looked up at Wesley. Wesley shook his head. "I'm not sure. You have to be prepared for everything. The result may not be the answer you want, or the result may not be the best."

"I understand. I'll be ready." Sky's face was covered in tears. Wesley walked over and wiped her tears. Then he held her face in his hands and lowered his head to kiss her gently.

The two of them kissed passionately at the shooting range for a moment before their lips parted. "Let's go back!" Wesley took Sky's hand and left the range.

Wesley submitted his application to Phil Coulson. The three of them could already be equipped with guns as technicians. The main purpose of them being equipped with guns was to protect themselves, not to fight. If they wanted to participate in a battle, they would need more training or unexpected situations. But in any case, the three of them had some ability to protect themselves.

With these arrangements made, Wesley found time to spend alone with Melinda May. "How's Phil doing?"

"He has begun to suspect now. I guess some changes in himself have made him suspicious," Melinda May said.

"Any instructions from the Director?"

"The director has no choice. Now we have to figure it out ourselves. If he really remembers, it will be very crazy. The aftereffects of resurrection are terrible. Phil was in charge of the project himself. If he remembers, the consequences will be hard to predict."

"How about this? Didn't Phil used to be in charge of this project? Then get the director to send all the information and give it to me. I'll think of something."

"Okay." The two of them separated immediately after saying that. They were both here to help Phil Coulson, and Melinda May was in charge of the report. They usually didn't communicate at all. This time Wesley was away for too long, so he could only ask her about the situation.

After Wesley returned, Phil Coulson directly reported to headquarters that their team was complete and could attack again. Now they were on standby and the personnel could not leave easily.

Wesley thought for a moment, then called Kyle. "Kyle, how's the stock going?"

"Boss, I've been calling you for a month. Where have you been?" Kyle Robert complained. The shares of the Union Games Company are very popular. Although they are very expensive now, they are still fighting for them. After the auction, 10% of the shares have been sold, but the boss is not here and there is no way to sign.
