Chapter 188 - Informant

Wesley took the box to the second floor. Skye sat on the couch, while Fitz and Simmons sat on either side of her and stared at her. They were interesting people.

"Okay, you two have a mission. Go to the lab and get ready. You are about to set off. Let Melinda accompany you." Wesley drove them away, then sat beside Sky and opened the box in his hand. "This is a small gadget. Wearing it will block you from all electronic devices. How about it? Do you want to wear it?"

"Is that what I'm asking to stay here?" Sky asked.

"That's right. You're not trusted now. We're not ordinary people. It's very risky for Phil to allow you to stay, so you need to be restricted. This is also to ensure the safety of the others."

"Do you trust me?" Sky asked Wesley.

"Trust is built after experiencing some things, just like this incident. Everyone has already begun to accept you, but you shattered this trust yourself, and you need to work harder next, so that you can be trusted again."

"I'm asking if you trust me?" Sky stared at Wesley.

"I trust you." Wesley looked at Sky and replied. Of course he trusted him. He knew more about Sky. The future Shockwave Woman was definitely a capable agent of SHIELD. In SHIELD's toughest times, she assisted Phil Coulson in completing SHIELD's mission. She was a good agent and a great superhero.

"Thank you." With that, he put on the metal ring.

"Very good. I think you know what you have to do in the future. Keep working hard and you will succeed. I will be your supervisor in the future. I am not familiar with this because there seems to be no supervisor after joining SHIELD. At most, it is Phil. Of course, I am not clear about this, I only saw it when I was training at SHIELD."

"Uh-huh, since you're my supervisor, I'll allow you to buy me dinner." Sky said and laughed, then got up and left.

Wesley smiled. He was close, but not now. He would have to wait. He looked at the time and decided it was time. He went directly to the interrogation room and pushed the door open.

Reiner looked at Wesley and said, "It's not a good move to come in without knocking. This is a lady's room now, you know." She woke up early and walked around the room, then sat there thinking about questions.

Wesley sat down across from her. "This isn't a hotel. It's a cell. A solid cell. As a guard, I have the right to come in at any time, and your language skills are best not used."

"I know you, Wesley Gibson, a billionaire. I just didn't expect you to be an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. It's a little surprising," Rena said softly. Her language talent is excellent, which is why she can participate in Project Centipede.

"There are a lot of things you don't know, but that's not what we're going to talk about. Now we need to talk about your problem. Do you want to go to jail or are you willing to be our informant? It's a matter of choice."

"An informant? Haha… it's a little funny. Do you know who your opponent is?" Rena admired Clairvoyant and was envious of his ability to predict in advance, hoping to be guided. At the same time, she was also an undercover agent sent by Sky's biological father.

"Of course we know. We know more than you think, including who Clairvoyant is." Wesley felt the need to break through her psychological defenses first. This was very important, but it was very difficult for the woman in front of him, so Wesley directly drugged her.

Sure enough, after hearing about Clairvoyance, Rena's expression changed. Wesley actually knew who Clairvoyant was. How was that possible? Wesley saw her rapid psychological change and then said with a smile, "I told you, we know more than you think."

"That's impossible. If you knew, why would you look for me?" Rena was exasperated.

"It's one thing for us to know, but it's another thing to have evidence. What I want you to do now is to lure him out. It's a very simple mission. How about it?"

"Okay, I accept!" Rena said directly.

"That's good. You can leave after we sign an agreement. In addition, we're preparing…"

"Agreement? What agreement?"

"Since you are an informant, we need to protect you and restrict you at the same time. This is the content of the agreement. Don't worry, as long as you complete the mission obediently, you can be exempted from punishment."

"Do you trust me that much? There was no negotiation between us and I agreed directly. You actually believed me?" Smart people are suspicious. Her directly agreeing was just a test, and she did not expect Wesley to agree directly. This situation is obviously not right!

"Oh? Were you lying to me just now?" Wesley crossed his legs, a wicked smile on his lips, and looked at Rena.

Rainer was afraid. She didn't know why she was afraid, but she felt fear as she looked at Wesley, who was smiling. People feel strange at times. They feel fear or curiosity about something unknown, and Wesley's smile was inscrutable.

Wesley was not afraid that Rena would lie to him, so he readily agreed. More than half of his confidence came from his ability, and the rest came from his understanding of the world. Although this was the Marvel Universe, many things were the same as the movies and American dramas he had seen. Wesley called this a cosmic mapping.

The theory of cosmic mapping was just a kind of magnetic field theory, just like the magnetic field between planets in the universe. But he didn't know if it was right or not. It was just an interpretation of himself.

Rena was scared. She was thinking about what she should say, but Wesley didn't give her a chance. "Are you organizing your words? I think you'd better not waste your time. We know you. You're very good at using your female advantage and then agitating through words. But this is S.H.I.E.L.D., full of highly trained agents. Your little tricks are not enough."

"Now answer me, are you lying to me?" Wesley was aggressive, and Rena was a little flustered. She didn't know much about Wesley. This kind of billionaire is extremely confident and can't be fooled by her words.

There was a stalemate between the two of them. One was relaxed and smiling, neither fast nor slow. The other was thinking anxiously, his face full of worry.
