Chapter 65 - Saul

It didn't make sense for a billionaire to be on duty, but since he took the initiative, Phil wouldn't call him back. Maybe he really liked it.

Wesley just wanted to find Saul first and then let him go straight to get the hammer. He didn't really think about standing guard. He liked being an agent, but he didn't say that he liked standing guard!

Standing at the highest point of the iron frame, two men were already on duty. They were the assault team. Wesley knew that most of the commandos at SHIELD headquarters were Hydra people, so he didn't talk to them. Instead, he put on a raincoat and began to observe his surroundings with a night-vision telescope.

Although it wasn't raining, he still wore a raincoat because it would definitely rain when Saul came later. Wherever this guy went, there would be lightning and thunder.

Wesley watched for a while and then lost interest, but he still strolled around up there. After a while, the sky began to fill with thunder and lightning. Wesley took out his phone. It was difficult to get on the Internet at random, and the signal was very strong.

"A lot of electromagnetic waves have appeared," Apple said.

"Looks like Saul is here. Pay attention to the search." Wesley doesn't use binoculars anymore. This thing is not as good as the apple, but he can't use the apple all the time. It consumes a lot of energy. Now that Saul is here, he can let the apple control the retina directly.

After looking around, Wesley found a man and a woman. The man's hair was a little long, and he was taking off his coat and putting it on the woman beside him. He seemed to be preparing for something. This was Saul. Wesley raised his binoculars again and inadvertently scanned in this direction.

Then the man began to lurk carefully, but his movements were all under Wesley's nose, and he did not escape at all. After Wesley determined the direction he was going to enter, he directly walked down and then walked in the direction of the iron net.

Saul opened the barbed wire. Although his body had become mortal, he was still strong. He pulled open a hole and climbed in. But when he looked up, he saw a pair of dusty leather shoes and a charming smiling face. Although he was a man, he was indeed handsome.

"Hello, what's your name?" Wesley asked 'kindly'.

"What about you, Saul?" Saul is a God Realm man who values honor. Since he was discovered, he answered the question directly.

"Wesley Gibson, nice to meet you. Did you come for the hammer?"

"Not bad. I came to get my things."

"Then come with me." Wesley turned around and wanted to take Saul in, but the guy was confused and stood still. He didn't believe it would be so easy.

"What do you want to do?" Saul asked.

"Of course I'm taking you to get the hammer. What's wrong? Is there a question?" Wesley was puzzled. How could this simple-minded guy be puzzled?

"You want to trick me in so that you can catch me later, right?" Saul didn't have the confidence from the beginning. Then he smiled and felt that he had guessed right.

"I have to say that your idea is very interesting. The pattern on the hammer is recorded in our mythology here. And you dare to come here alone. I believe you don't know very much about who we are and how much power we have. Then you may not be from this world. Am I right?"

"This…" Saul hesitated, feeling that he was thinking too much. At this time, the others discovered the situation here. A team of commandos rushed over and pointed their guns at Saul. Wesley raised his hand. "You don't have to be nervous. Do what you have to do."

"Agent Wesley, your rank is not high enough to command them." Wesley looked back and saw Hawkeye walking over with a bow and arrow on his back. He was higher in rank than Wesley, but Wesley didn't care.

"Regardless of the lack of authority, they make it easy to scare my friend. This is the owner of the hammer. I want to take him to see if he lost it. Is there a problem?"

"I know you are a little special, but since you have joined SHIELD, you must follow the rules."

"Hehe, I'm following the rules. We have to show kindness to outsiders first, right? Don't make a powerful enemy for the earth. If he can hold that hammer, then it proves that my guess is correct. If he can't, what do we have to lose?" Wesley's words stunned Hawkeye. That hammer is really not something ordinary people can hold. Anyway, he can't.

Hawkeye came when Wesley was sleeping, and Wesley went straight to stand guard when he woke up, so they didn't meet, but it wasn't a pleasant meeting.

"Okay, I need to ask Agent Phil."

"No need. I'll take him in now. Just spread out. Nothing will happen to the hammer that he can't carry. If he can carry it, then he's not an ordinary person." Wesley turned to look at Saul. "Come with me."

Wesley strode away. Saul hesitated for a moment and then followed him. He felt that Wesley could be trusted, and Saul heard their conversation clearly. They had to be friendly to outsiders first.

Phil was watching on the monitor. He felt that Wesley should know something, but no one was clear until he said, "Hawkeye, let them through. Let them pass. Order everyone to evacuate and stay away from the crater."

Wesley led Saul all the way to the hammer. Saul believed him now. "I have made you a friend. You are trustworthy." Saul walked up happily and held the handle of the hammer. He didn't pick it up.

He was puzzled for a moment and then tried again, but it still did not move. He was angry and tried to pull it up with both hands, but it did not work at all. Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled in the sky, and then it rained heavily. Saul knelt in front of the hammer. He was very sad.

"Ah…" He threw his head back and roared. Wesley knew that he had lost the recognition of Mjolnir. This was his own problem, but not what his father Odin had done. He needed to regain Mjolnir's trust.

"Hey, man, there's no need to be so sad. Let's go in for a hot water and think about what went wrong. What do you think?"

"You still trust me?"

"Why not? Your confidence at the beginning and your sadness now are not fake. Your eyes tell me everything, so I believe you." Wesley made it up. "Come with me." Wesley had been wearing a raincoat, but he didn't want to stand in the water all the time. Saul followed him to the command center, where there was a vacant room. Wesley asked someone to make two chairs and a small table, and then brought hot water.
