Chapter 474 - Jedi Knight?

Wesley was wandering around randomly. He was very curious about this place. What kind of parallel universe was it? That was the most important question now. If he could find out in advance, he could choose to leave or stay.

At that moment, a fellow in a similar robe came up to him. He did not have a hood, but he was an alien. Wesley could only describe him that way. After all, there were too many aliens on the planet. There was no need to make a fuss.

However, this guy walked directly in front of Wesley and then bowed. This stunned Wesley and he hurriedly copied the other party's movements.

"Please forgive me for asking, but why haven't I seen you in the temple before?" the man said. Fortunately, it was not the language of aliens, and Wesley understood it completely.

"I'm sorry, I don't know anything about a temple. Why have you seen me before?" Wesley asked curiously. Did this person see that this was his first time here?

"Oh? So you are not a Jedi? Then why can I feel the existence of the Force on you?" The other party was puzzled, and Wesley instantly understood many things.

Wesley was very familiar with the name Jedi Knight. In the universe of origin, Star Wars was a series of movies that lasted for many years, especially the first film directed by George Lucas in 1977. It was really not easy to make such a good sci-fi movie at that time.

The series of stories was indeed very attractive, and what time period was he in now? Wesley was lost in thought. He did not notice that the alien opposite him had reached to his waist, where a metal stick-like object was hanging.

Apple gave Wesley an analysis of the situation. They must have been in the prequel to Star Wars, the second clone war. They had met Queen Naboo's car in the beginning, and Wesley had defused the bomb. The difference was that Wesley had not seen the two escort fighters.

"So Queen Naboo, no, it should be Senator Padmé Amidala now. She didn't use a substitute? If I didn't come, she might have blown up?" Wesley said.

"That's right. It's very likely that she won't be blown up. After all, this is not a movie, and the other party may not really want to blow her up. Although she has always opposed the establishment of an army, her existence is still very valuable. It may be a threat to make her feel threatened. Most importantly, the power of the bomb we took down is average, and the location of the installation is also particular. After my calculations just now, it is indeed not enough to form a large-scale killing."

"Yes, that makes sense." Wesley nodded, and the alien opposite him looked puzzled.

Wesley then made a few judgments. First, he would leave this place and go straight back into the universe of wonder and cross over, but he gave up on that idea. He chose the second method, which was to stay and join the ranks of the Jedi. He was curious about the cosmic Force, and the Jedi attracted him. He wanted to see if he could enhance his strength.

At the thought of this, he raised his head and looked at the other party with a guarded expression. Although he was an alien, his expression was still very similar to that of a human. The other party's hand was on a metal stick-like object. Was this a laser sword?

"No problem. I'm still curious about the Jedi, but why do you think I'm a Jedi?" Wesley asked.

"Because your clothes caught my attention and I only felt the Force when I approached you next. Now please come with me." The other party walked directly with Wesley. He was guarding against Wesley's movements.

It dawned on Wesley that his robes were very similar to those of the Jedi. In this universe, no one wore them except Jedi who knew the Force. Wesley did not ask much along the way, and the other party did not ask any questions. They came to the temple without saying anything.

The Sanctum was different from what Wesley had imagined. The buildings were tall and filled with technology, and there was no such thing as ancient. The elevator was very fast, but there was no sense of weightlessness. In a few seconds, they were on the top floor, the elders' home of the Jedi.

As soon as he walked out of the elevator, he saw a room. The room was not very big, but it was very empty. There were only half a circle of different-looking seats, and there were all kinds of people sitting on them, including aliens.

The Jedi sat in a circle. They were all Masters, and there were two of them standing. They were human, though, and Wesley recognized them as he looked at them. Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and his apprentice, Anakin Skywalker. It could be said that the master and the apprentice had been together since the beginning of Star Wars, and so far that was the case.

"Master Koleman Tabor, who is this?" Master Yoda asked.

"I found him to be a strange person wearing a Jedi's hooded robe, and I felt the Cosmic Force when I approached him, but he said himself that he was not a Jedi," Keleman Tabo said.

"I wonder what I should call you, stranger?" Master Yoda said to Wesley.

Master Yoda was a green-skinned little thing, but now he was old enough, otherwise Wesley would have liked to describe him as cute, but now that was too out of place.

"Wesley Gibson, an outsider, is very curious about the Jedi Knight you mentioned, so I came to see if I have the honor of being called a Jedi Knight by you?" Wesley said with a smile.

"So where are you from?" Master Yoda asked.

"It's far away. If I say it, I don't think you know. It's better not to say it." Wesley didn't say where he came from. If he said it, these guys might not believe him. It's better not to say it.

"Oh…" There was silence. Master Yoda was silent, but he did not do nothing. A wave of mental power pressed toward Wesley, but he was not the first to do this kind of thing. It was completely useless. "Are you sure it is not a Jedi?"

"No, if it is, I won't come. How about it? Yes or no?" Wesley asked aggressively.

The profession of Jedi Knights is very rigid. They are not allowed to form a family. They must maintain a fair and selfless mentality. It is a little like the way of ascetics. Their lives are very long.

Anakin Skywalker looked at Wesley with curiosity, but going to see Padmé Amidala now was the key thing. He did not want to take up too much time. He had not seen that beautiful girl in ten years.
