Chapter 459 - Wolf Mount

Time passed in a tug-of-war. Wesley had shot thousands of Uruk-hai, and they were still chasing him, but Wesley had never stopped riding his horse, and he didn't need to sprint. Chasing four legs with two legs was a joke.

The army suffered heavy losses. At this rate, they could only retreat back to Isengard. The white-robed sorcerer Saruman might not accept this situation. The leader of the Uruk-hai kept giving orders and blowing the horn, and their actions were finally answered.

In the distance, a horn sounded. It was the response of the Wolf Rider. They finally heard it. The leader of the Uruk-hai was excited. "The army will disperse and start to surround him from both sides. Let the Wolf Rider block his way. I want to eat him piece by piece." The leader opened his mouth and his black teeth made people feel disgusted.

Wesley also heard the horn in the distance. Then, the rear of the enemy army began to divide into an army and move to both sides. It was obvious that they wanted to outflank his two wings. The obvious tactic, no matter what the horn in the distance meant, was that they could intercept his retreat.

He turned around and no longer rode backwards. Then, he urged his horse and it finally began to run quickly. In his direction was the sound of a horn in the distance.

"Why did he run away?" The leader of the Uruk-hai was very unwilling to see Wesley leave.

However, the guy beside him was very smart. "He's heading in the direction of his mount wolf. Could it be that he wants to defeat his mount wolf first?"

"Haha, can a human warhorse avoid the siege of a mount wolf? Since he went to die, we don't have to care about him anymore. Order the army to reorganize. We have wasted too much time, we must continue on our way."

The Uruk-hai army had lost more than a thousand men, but they were not worried about not being able to take the Kingdom of Rohan, because the knights there had been exiled by the defense. It was impossible to gather them again in a short time. They had enough time to take it.

The Uruk-hai did not know that Éomer had learned of their actions and was gathering Rohan's Hussars in the wilderness to go back and protect their king. If the army of Uruk-hai arrived in Rohan, they would be met by the Hussars of Rohan.

Wesley rode toward his mount wolf. He didn't know what the other side had up their sleeve, but there was no mistake in knocking out this unit that had drifted away from the army. The two sides faced each other, and it didn't take long for Wesley to see his mount wolf in the distance. There weren't many of them, about a hundred of them, and above them were Orc riders.

Wesley drew his magic bow and the Wind Arrow began to shoot. This time, however, the effect of his Wind Arrow was reduced. The other party was a cavalryman, after all, and his mount wolf was much more flexible than a horse. It was very difficult to shoot from a distance. Wesley immediately replaced the magic and used the explosive shot of the Fire Arrow.

With a bang, the fire arrow exploded beside a mount wolf. Even if it couldn't hit it, the sparks of the fire arrow were a good way to kill it. This was a magic flame, and it would burn at a distance if it touched it, especially against this kind of fur animal.

The mount wolf was instantly engulfed in flames. Then Wesley began to turn his horse around, and he turned around to shoot an arrow. It was not a good choice to rush over and engage in close combat. The other party could attack both the wolf rider and the mount wolf. His horse was not good and was a little fragile, so it was better to attack from afar.

He didn't use many Fire Arrows, so the chanting took a while, but there weren't many of them. Wesley didn't mind practicing here.

The mount wolves behind them began to scatter. They were divided into three teams, and two teams began to take advantage of the flexibility of the mount wolves to circle around from the slopes on both sides of the road. The warhorses could not compare to them at all.

Wesley observed his surroundings as he attacked. It seemed likely that he would engage in close combat, but before that, he had to do his best to kill the other party. The distance between the two sides was now very close. Wesley no longer used magic. Instead, he changed to a physical bow and arrow. The speed of these attacks increased a lot. Moreover, he did not shoot Wolf Riders but focused on Wargs.

The most powerful thing about mount wolves is their mount wolves. After special training, these mount wolves are much stronger than warhorses, especially their lethality is the most terrifying, much more terrifying than wolf riders.

The sound of arrows piercing through the air could be heard as sharp arrows began to pierce through the wolf's head. Wesley's archery was too accurate, which made the wolf rider very afraid, but he would be able to surround this guy soon. He had to make him pay.

The Wargs in three directions began to close in, but their numbers had been reduced by more than half, which made them extremely angry. Wesley put away his longbow and drew the Elven King's Sword from his belt. "The destruction of the fire is with me. We will burn all the enemies that have been cut down. The fire will purify everything. Sword of fire."

With a bang, the sword in Wesley's hand suddenly burst into flames. Wesley was like a knight holding a torch. Wesley waved his sword and rushed directly at the Wolf Rider on the left. He charged in the moment they surrounded him.

With a puff, he cut down a wolf's head with his sword. His horse was too fast, but because of the terrain restrictions, it could only gallop on the main road. However, in a short period of time, the sprint was as fast as the wind. The mount wolf did not expect Wesley to take the initiative to attack them. These were caught off guard. Wesley waved his burning sword and slashed all the way, killing several mount wolves.

The orcs began to howl. They were extremely angry. There were too many mount wolves and they were not easy to raise. They had to eat a lot of meat every day. Now, they had been killed by the other party.

They hurriedly began to close in, and Wesley began to circle around their edge on his horse, the sword in his hand falling continuously, and Wesley was very strong. The enemy wanted his mount wolf to pounce on Wesley's horse, but Wesley swung his sword directly. Even if he couldn't kill it, he would send it flying, and it would be impossible to pounce. The horse was Wesley's reliance now, and he didn't want to run with his legs. That would affect his efficiency too much.

In less than ten minutes of close combat, the Wolf Riders had lost another thirty or so men. Now they only had twenty or so left. They were terrified. Some of the orcs began to turn and run, and those who took the lead would naturally be followed. But Wesley had no intention of letting them go. He took out his magic longbow again. Now it was his turn to pursue.
