As soon as Wesley led them into the headquarters, he sensed that something was wrong. The headquarters was quiet and everyone looked dejected. Peter Quill and the others looked at each other, and Wesley had a bad feeling.
Wesley grabbed a staff member and asked, "Where are Tony and Steve?"
"Uh…" The staff did not answer immediately.
"What happened? Who is at headquarters now?" Wesley asked hurriedly.
"Only Dr. Bruce Banner is at headquarters," the staff said.
Wesley waved his hand and led Peter Quill and the others straight upstairs, but they did not take the elevator, because Groat was too tall. Groat had not sacrificed himself in the battle of Cheddar, so it was still a tall Ent, a guy with battle reports.
Bruce Banner was staring at a monitor in the living room on the third floor. He looked very nervous and anxious.
"Bruce, what happened?" Wesley strode over and asked.
"Wesley, you're finally back. This is great. If you don't come back, something will happen." Bruce jumped up, but then he saw a strange group of people behind Wesley. A red-skinned strong man with a lot of patterns on his body, and a green-skinned woman. Did she transform like him?
A treant? What species is this? And a… Well, like Earthlings, this is more normal. Looking down, there is a raccoon walking upright below.
Bruce was in a daze, but Wesley could not be in a daze. He asked directly, "What happened, Bruce?"
"The United Nations has proposed a Wakanda agreement," Brosnan said.
Wesley was stunned. The Cosovia Protocol was gone, and now there was a Wakanda Protocol. Had that theory been verified, and all the politician needed was an excuse?
Bruce Banner continued, "Not long ago, they went to Wakanda to carry out a mission. It was a biochemical weapon transaction. In the end, there was an accident. Walter's control was not high, and there was a mistake in the middle, causing many deaths and injuries. The United Nations then proposed a Wakanda agreement to put the Avengers Alliance under the management of the United Nations."
"What about SHIELD and the World Security Council?" Wesley asked.
"They've come forward, but it's useless. SHIELD is in a lot of trouble now. Because of civil unrest, they don't have enough money and manpower, and they're all operating at full capacity on four space carriers. Moreover, Phil has a lot of problems and they're all busy. The World Security Council has been merged into the United Nations, and various countries are afraid of SHIELD's four space carriers."
"Also, Saul hasn't come back since he returned to the Realm of the Gods, and we can't count on the help group of the Realm of the Gods. Tony agreed to the Wakanda agreement, but Steve didn't, and the argument between the two sides was very serious. It was just an argument at first, but then everyone decided to wait for you to come back. Anyway, this matter can be delayed. After all, the headquarters funded half of your money, and your identity is more important."
"But there was an accident in the end. Do you remember Winter Soldier?" Bruce Banner asked.
"Well, what happened to Winter Soldier?"
"The Winter Soldier was originally held by S.H.I.E.L.D., but he was later handed over to the U.S. military. In the end, he disappeared. There was an explosion at the United Nations General Assembly. King Wakanda, who was speaking, was killed. Someone saw that it was the Winter Soldier who did it, and there is an image record."
Wesley was a little confused. There was no disaster in Kosovia, so who framed Winter Soldier? Why did things go back on track and everything he did was useless? After a short moment of confusion, Apple immediately said to Wesley, "Actually, it's very normal. If an ordinary person can find out about Winter Soldier, then wouldn't it be easy for the American military to do something? And there are many forces that want to control Avengers. It's easy to do these things."
Wesley calmed down and then asked, "Where are they now?"
"Steve seems to have found something and wants to leave by plane, but Tony wants to catch the Winter Soldiers. They are now lying in wait at the airport." Bruce Banner pointed to the monitor he had just seen, and Wesley hurried over to take a look.
Tony Stark and Steve Rogers were talking face-to-face, and there were several people confronting each other around them. Wesley saw Little Spider, so Ant-Man was probably there, too.
The lineup did not decrease or increase. Wesley smiled at such a neat lineup. He was laughing from anger.
"Bruce, why aren't you involved?" Wesley turned and asked.
"I can't participate. After all, the destructive power is too great. If I participate, casualties will inevitably appear," Bruce Banner said.
Peter Quayle had a rough idea of what was going on. Although he didn't quite understand, he was sure that there was internal strife in Avengers. Now this thin guy was saying that he was too destructive. Who were these people? "Wesley, is this guy really destructive?"
Wesley looked at Peter Quayle and said, "He can fight ten characters like Ronan, but don't provoke him. It's difficult to control him after he transforms. I'll talk to you later. Now I need your help. Get on the plane immediately."
Wesley pulled Bruce Banner straight downstairs, and Peter Quill and the others followed in confusion. They did not know what was going on, but listening to Wesley was not wrong. This guy was very powerful.
The fighter took off again and Wesley ran directly to the airport. "This is the United States Air Force. Mr. Wesley Gibson, you have taken off again. Where are you headed?"
"Heading to an airport."
"Sorry, because your aircraft has not been registered, please register before flying."
Wesley was furious. Did someone want to see a civil war in the Alliance? "If you have the ability, send out a fighter jet or launch a missile to shoot me down. Otherwise, shut the fuck up."
Wesley shut down the communication directly after his roar, and there was no more movement from the United States Air Force. What they wanted Wesley to know was clear. What was the nature of the United States government and the military? It was nothing more than mastery. It was not so much that the United Nations wanted to regulate the Avengers, but it was as if the United States wanted to do it.
Who had the final say in the United Nations? This was something that everyone knew. At that time, wouldn't the actions of the Avengers be decided by the Americans? Even if there were countries who objected, even if some of the five permanent members objected, would it work?
Now that the United States Air Force was directly attacking Wesley, it was just an excuse for Wesley. Moreover, only God knew the effect of the attack. The American military had no idea how strong Wesley was now, especially when two more aircraft flew over from outside the atmosphere.
The United States had many satellites and had long since discovered that the two aircraft came from the universe. Because the two fighters did not have the function of invisibility, Wesley did not design them that way. After all, they were used for space navigation and invisibility was unrealistic.
