Chapter 239 - Battle at Headquarters (4)

If Wesley could attack with impunity, the battle would have ended long ago. Unfortunately, yes, he could not. Now he turned back to the entrance of the passage and threw some ammunition into the shelter of Phil Coulson and the others. Then he walked behind a bunker himself and his armor was put away.

It was too bloody to use a spinning axe, especially since this was SHIELD headquarters. Wesley did not dare to attack humans with a flying axe, even if they were Hydra. And the lethality of the energy impact was limited. It was easier to use a frozen gun.

He took out an assault rifle, a freeze gun made by Fitz. Wesley adjusted it to point-and-fire mode, then turned and stood up. He pulled the trigger repeatedly with his finger and bullets flew out without missing.

One of the magazines was empty, and Wesley crouched down again. He was satisfied with the result. It was much better than blowing things up with his own shock wave. Replacing the magazine, Wesley looked around and saw that the tunnel at the front of the factory had been breached. He had helped them just now, but he had not expected them to be so fast.

"Phil, let's attack the back of the factory. There's a control center there. I think Hydra is trying to open the roof hatch. As long as we take the control center here, they have no hope," Wesley said on the radio.

"Okay, you cover. We'll start charging that way."

"Don't charge. I'll take you there." Wesley put on his armor again and walked over. Then he pushed the boxes and equipment piled in front of Phil Coulson and the others, and the thrusters behind him were activated.

The sound of metal scraping against metal was very ear-piercing. Everyone endured the sound and moved along with the bunker. Hydra's personnel began to gather. Many of them were waiting to take off on the mothership, but there was no hope of taking off now, so they simply mobilized all of them. How many people were there on the three motherships? Even if there were fewer, there would be thousands of people.

The rush of footsteps made their skin crawl, but Wesley was already pushing cover, covering Phil Coulson and the others as they made their way to the rear of the factory. This was close to the control room of the factory. Wesley took one look and fired an energy blast into the control room. The shock wave spread and it was a mess inside. A lot of equipment had been destroyed. It would be impossible for Hydra to launch the space carrier from here.

The control room was relatively high up and needed to be taken up the stairs below. Wesley pushed some boxes directly there. "You guys go up and I'll guard the door." Wesley set up a defense at the door, then turned into the bunker and removed the armor. Then he took out a large number of frozen guns and ammunition and some stun-inducing SHIELD inventions.

"Our plan is going to fail," someone shouted. Wesley got up and peeked. Thousands of Hydra members were gathered together, listening to a person talking. "But did you get to Fear?"

"No, long live Hydra." Thousands of people roared, and the fever spread.

"Cut off a head," the leader shouted again.

"Grow two heads." Another pandering cheer came from below.

Wesley was dumbfounded. What was wrong with these people? Why were they so crazy? These people were all agents who had at least undergone strict training. Even a level-one agent's willpower was not something ordinary people could compare with.

Since he couldn't figure it out, he didn't think about it anymore. Wesley took out a concussion grenade. After the grenade exploded, it didn't cause damage, but directly caused dizziness to the human body. In order to achieve maximum utilization, Wesley directly controlled the heart, which began to beat rapidly. Everything around him slowed down, even the sound was out of proportion. He pulled the ring and released the safety, and a grenade flew toward the most crowded place.

Buzz! The people around them felt dizzy and then fell to the ground. But this was not the end. One after another, concussion grenades were thrown out, and Phil Coulson and the others all opened fire. The ammunition of the frozen gun was limited. They had not expected so many people, and they were so fanatical. They could only do their best now.

Phil Coulson fired as he radioed Maria Hill. "Hill, did you see what happened at the factory?"

"I see it. I didn't expect there to be so many people. Has Hydra gathered most of them here?" Maria Hill felt her scalp tingle.

"Has the New York Division's armed forces arrived? Let them attack here ahead of time. Even Wesley can't stop so many people unless he kills them all." Phil Coulson was in a cold sweat. If Wesley finally opens the killing ring, then countless people will die. Even if these people are Hydra's people, there are so many of them that once they are all killed, it will be a big problem.

If there was a massacre in the United States, the consequences would be unpredictable. Wesley was also very afraid. Otherwise, he would not have deliberately suppressed himself. He could have just taken out his energy gun and fired it. He was afraid of hurting himself!

An aircraft carrier can accommodate thousands of people. Even if the mothership doesn't need that many people, each carrier has more than a thousand people. After all, S.H.I.E.L.D. is not an army, so it doesn't need too many people to maintain maximum combat power, and Hydra doesn't have that many people. But Wesley didn't expect that they would assign so many people. They are obviously using the three motherships as a base. Once they take off, they probably won't come down for a long time.

The concussion grenades had all been thrown, but the effect was so-so. Only a few hundred people had fallen. This was not a fragmentation grenade, and the stun effect was so-so. Wesley picked up his assault rifle and began to fire.

"Charge!" After some chaos, Hydra's people began to charge. Most of them were holding pistols, which are the lowest configuration of the mothership, a pistol, and a few with assault rifles. Fortunately, Nick Fury is the director, and under his suppression, the mothership did not fully configure the armory. Otherwise, Wesley could only put on his armor and kill.

Bullets hit the bunker like a downpour, and Phil Coulson and the others were suppressed to the point where they could not move. Only Wesley could barely fight back. It was an abnormal crisis.

Wesley wanted to put on his armor. If he let them get any closer, Phil Coulson and the others would be in danger. Fortunately, all the doors around the factory opened and New York Division armed men rushed in and began the attack, but they were using real weapons now.

For a moment, the gunshots were even more chaotic, and Steve Rogers also rushed in. He raised his shield and rushed forward into the crowd, punching and smashing, and then the shield was thrown out and hit countless people.
