Chapter 191 - A Certain Death Mission?

"Agent Sitwell." The group walked inside. Their goal is an operations command center, also known as the Situation Room. There are many such places at SHIELD, and each command center has a level eight agent in charge.

Sitwell was still a sixth-grade agent and worked at headquarters. He was with Hydra, but Phil Coulson still greeted him warmly.

"Agent Coulson, oh… and Agent Wesley Gibson, it's been a long time. How are you doing outside?" Sitwell greeted them with a smile.

"Not bad. It's not as comfortable as headquarters, but it's very pleasant," Phil Coulson said with a smile.

"Agent Hand is waiting for you in the Situation Room. Please follow me." Sitwell led the way. His big bald head was a good signpost.

The door to the Situation Room needed a facial scrub. Sitwell said as he walked, "Agents above level seven can join. Wesley and Melinda can follow." Then he walked in first. Phil Coulson also went in. Sky wanted to follow, but Wesley pulled her back.

"Agent Level Seven and above, why are you following?" Wesley said and entered with Melinda.

Sky looked at it, then looked back at Fitz and Simons and asked: "What does he mean?"

Fitz said, "Uh-huh. His meaning is clear. You can't get in, and Simmons and I can't get in. But we're in a better situation than you. At most, we won't open the door. But if you go over…" Fitz hesitated.

"How was my past?" Sky asked curiously.

"If you go over, your metal bracelet will be sucked in. Do you see the square metal under the identification system? If you go over, you will be sucked in," Simons added.

"Really?" Sky didn't believe it, so she walked over and her right hand with the metal ring was suddenly pulled away, directly attached to the metal square. She couldn't pull it down. She wanted to turn back and ask for help, but Structure Fitz and Simons had already run away.

Sky looked around helplessly, but no one was looking at her strangely. She had probably seen a lot of this kind of thing. She was starting to regret it. Wesley had clearly reminded her, and she leaned against the wall and waited.

"Agent Hand." The three of them followed Jasper Sitwell into the command center.

"Agent Coulson, Agent Wesley Gibson, Agent Melinda." A tall woman turned back to greet them.

**Victoria Hand** Level Eight Agent in charge of a command center at headquarters. Good height, even build, long hair with a strand of red hair, black-rimmed glasses.

Victoria Hand greeted them and then said, "The intelligence you brought back shows that an independent organization in South Ossetia has created a sonic oscillator, and they intend to use this weapon within the next twenty-four hours."

Then, a partial picture of the weapon appeared on the huge screen in the command center. "We think this weapon can be used at a long distance and can destroy all means of attack, including fighter jets, missiles, and even nuclear bombs."

"Now I need a two-man team to infiltrate the disputed territory, enter the base camp of this organization, and destroy this weapon within 24 hours, and your team is undoubtedly the most suitable." Victoria Hand looked at Phil Coulson after she finished speaking.

"No problem. My team can do it." Phil Coulson nodded and said.

"One of the other two must be proficient in weapons and can be guaranteed to destroy or dismantle them," Victoria Hand added. Phil Coulson was not calm.

Wesley and Melinda would have no problem sneaking in, but if Fitz went, it would be a big problem. He was a technician, not a combatant. Even if Wesley had been training them, that was not something that could be done in the short term.

As the three of them left the command center with the mission information, Wesley said, "Why would they give us such a mission? And they asked to bring Fitz. This is already obvious. We can't kill our way out with him."

"Are you suspecting something?" Phil Coulson asked.

"I'm not sure. Is a sonic weapon really that powerful, and how can a small organization like theirs have such technology?"

'You think it's a trap?'

"Who knows? But I'll go alone on this matter. I don't need to bring Fitz with me. I'll just take the things back and let Fitz study them. I can keep them for my own use."

Phil Coulson stopped, then looked at Wesley and said, "You can't use the armor. That would make the situation worse. This is bad news for the Avengers."

"Uh-huh, I understand. Maybe someone wants me to use the armor, but it doesn't matter. I can still enter without the armor and come out with something."

"It's very dangerous for you not to use the armor. Are you sure you want to do this? How about I ask Melinda to accompany you!"

"No need, it's more convenient to be alone. Don't worry. Also, can we rest in the headquarters for a while after completing the mission?"

"Are you going to Hill for a date? What if Sky finds out?"

"No, no, no. I wanted to invite Skye to dinner, but there's no good restaurant where we usually stay."

The mission was decided. Wesley would go alone, and they would not be taking their own flight base. This time, headquarters would be responsible for transportation, but Wesley would need to return to the plane to organize his equipment.

Jasper Sitwell was in Alexander Pierce's office. "Mr. Secretary, this mission doesn't seem very difficult for them, even without an evacuation plan."

"I know, but Wesley Gibson doesn't use his armor, so it's also very dangerous for him. Get the satellite ready. Once he uses the armor, it must be recorded. Do you understand?"

"I understand. Are you trying to let the international community know about this matter?"

"Smart. Nick Fury got Captain America into the headquarters, and Phil Coulson took Sir outside to form an independent team. I don't know how much he knows, but these are all threats to us. We can get rid of one, but we can't do it ourselves. If we do, there will be flaws. Project Insight can't be lost."

"Yes, I understand." Jasper Sitwell turned and left, while Alexander Pierce stood by the floor-to-ceiling window and looked at the big lake outside the headquarters. He could clearly see the steel gate under the face, and under the gate was the hope of Hydra.

"Long live Hydra!"
