Chereads / New Staff of S. H. I. E. L. D. / Chapter 146 - Their Own Strategies

Chapter 146 - Their Own Strategies

Wesley had made his decision a long time ago. He had not thought about who he would sacrifice to achieve his goal. Naturally, he would not watch Phil Coulson die, even if he was resurrected later.

Therefore, he had planned long ago to stop Hawkeye from landing on the mothership with his men. Then, he would detain Loki and take his scepter to Stark Tower to close the space channel. Of course, when necessary, he would teach the aliens a lesson with a nuclear bomb.

Wesley was actually very puzzled as to why a single nuclear bomb had ended the lives of the Chitari motherships, and the Chitari army had not been able to take them for a long time. It was too strange. Loki, who had vowed to occupy the earth, had led such a weak army to attack. It had to be said that he was really strange.

There was basically no problem with his plan, but he had forgotten not to rely too much on the original movie plot in the universe, or he did not care about some subtle changes.

The wings of a butterfly could flap a storm. Wesley did not feel anything about this at all. He still did not understand the so-called butterfly effect. Because of his appearance, there was the intelligent system of the mothership, Elizabeth, and because of Elizabeth's appearance, Hawkeye could not directly want to sneak in. Wesley did not expect this situation, and neither did Apple. Its reliance on Wesley's thinking pattern was destined to have problems.

None of them expected Hydra to appear at this time, and on the day the Tesseract was lost, Alexander Pierce, who was in the SHIELD headquarters, summoned John Garrett.

John Garrett didn't know why he was summoned. He relied on Hydra to save his life, but he didn't want to always obey them.

"Minister Pierce, I wonder what's so urgent that you asked me to come here?" John Garrett asked.

"Garrett, I know that you have been busy with your own physical problems, but don't forget that you are a member of Hydra. Your activities are funded by Hydra." Alexander Pierce was dissatisfied with John Garrett's busyness.

"But at least I need to live, right?"

"Aren't you alive now?" Alexander Pierce's question was full of threat. John Garrett knew Hydra's strength, whether inside or outside SHIELD. Although he has his own people, he is too weak in comparison.

John Garrett wisely chose to compromise. "How can I help you?"

"Eagle Eye is being controlled by someone. We don't know what their purpose is at the moment, but I hope you can go and give them some help." After Minister Pierce finished speaking, John Garrett was also stunned. He had heard about this matter, but how could they find each other when SHIELD couldn't?

As if he could see the other party's confusion, Alexander Pierce said, "It's true that S.H.I.E.L.D. can't find them, but it doesn't mean that Hydra can't. After Hawkeye was controlled, he began to look for people, and our people are among the people they are looking for. So we know where they are and go to help them, but don't show up yourself and don't let Hawkeye find you."

"Hawkeye is undercover?"

"No, he is indeed controlled, but we don't know the result, so when you provide help, hide yourself."

"Understood. It's very simple. But are you trying to get rid of someone through them?" John Garrett asked curiously, and Alexander Pierce had no intention of hiding it.

"Yes, I don't know who I can get rid of, but this is a good time to kill someone with a borrowed knife. The Avengers are too big a threat to us, so no matter who dies, it is what I want to see."

Hydra had moved early, still because of Wesley's threat. His arrival was full of questions about why he had been purged as soon as he arrived in the New York Division, and why the people sent to recruit them had been found and killed. Although he knew nothing, Wesley's threat made Alexander Pearson feel real, and he had a clearer understanding of the Avengers' strength.

When Nick Fury had applied for the establishment of the organization, he had secretly arranged some methods to use the political means of the commissioners to make the plan die. But now, Nick Fury had actually used this crisis to rebuild it.

John Garrett left S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, which was now very empty. The main personnel had all entered the space carrier, including Hydra personnel. It was impossible for Nick Fury to exclude everyone, so doing so would be equivalent to directly confronting Hydra.

This way, John Garrett could get a lot of information. He now had a general idea of what was going on. It was a simple mission, so he sent out a peripheral agent to contact him. The person he sent out was directly controlled by Loki, so Loki got most of what he wanted, which was trust. He could believe that the other party really wanted to help him, although the information was a little lacking.

Next, Hawkeye directly asked for a Quinjet with the headquarters number. They could directly avoid the detection of the smart system, Elizabeth, and Wesley had miscalculated. Of course, he did not know this yet.

Everyone had their own plans, and it was obvious that Wesley had missed by one move and was at a disadvantage. He was now chatting with Saul.

Opening the door to the rear hold, Saul flew directly into the back of the fighter. He wanted to grab Loki and leave, but Wesley stopped him. "Saul, let go of your brother first!"

Saul looked in the direction of the voice. Wesley had taken off his helmet. "Oh, my friend, I didn't expect you to be here. Did you catch Loki?" Saul went straight to Wesley and hugged him. Their armor clanged together.

"Yes, to be precise, we caught him. This is Steve Rogers, the famous Captain America, but maybe you don't know him well enough yet." Wesley introduced Captain America and closed the door. "Sit down. Things are a little complicated now. Let's talk slowly."

On the speeding jet, Wesley told him what had happened when Loki arrived. Saul was so angry that he wanted to wave his hammer. Dozens of people had died on Earth because of Loki's direct or indirect actions.

Loki, on the other hand, said indifferently, "What? Are you sad? For the earth you love so much and the earth you swore to protect, are you sad? But it doesn't matter. Soon it will be mine, and I will be the king here."
