Chapter 142 - Comprehensive Laboratory

In Tony Stark's seaside villa, in the underground studio, three people were discussing intensely around a holographic projection picture.

Wesley shook his head and said, "No, we have to build nuclear-proof underground fortifications. The main body of the comprehensive laboratory has to be underground, and the ground is a civilian and living and training area."

Tony Stark retorted, "Why should we do that? I like to work in high places. Underground is not my style. What's there to be afraid of? We can build an air defense system and concentrate on studying the Iron Army first."

Bruce Banner looked at the two of them and was a little speechless. Are you going to start a war? "We're not going to have a war. Are you thinking about something else?"

"No, no, no, we didn't digress. This is very important. We have the research results of three geniuses here. Even a little is enough to make others crazy." Tony Stark's remarks are still narcissistic.

Wesley, on the other hand, was not. "Although I agree with Wesley, we still have to build it underground. You two should know very well what the United States government and military are like."

"What happened to Tony's military industry in the end? You yourself suffered a lot, and that hearing, have you forgotten? Bruce, you don't even need to talk about it, you helped the military experiment, and you know what the result was. In the end, you were chased all the way. Now the temptation of the three of us together, I hope you think about it carefully, they are very likely to throw nuclear bombs on our heads."

Tony Stark looked speechless. "Are you sure we're that attractive?"

"I'm not sure, but just in case. You have to know your electronic engineering and physics; Bruce's nuclear physics and my artificial intelligence. This is almost irresistible temptation. Isn't it normal for me to think so?"

"That's why we stopped them from thinking about it from the beginning and let them not know where to start."

The other two thought for a moment and finally nodded in agreement. Then, they began to study the necessary facilities.

"We should adopt a dual system model, dual energy, dual ventilation, dual isolation, and so on," Wesley said first.

The other two did not understand. Bruce asked, "What is a dual system? I understand the energy source, but what about the rest?"

"J.A.R.V.I.S., prepare a holographic image according to what I said. It doesn't need to be too specific. The rough outline will do," Wesley ordered.

"Understood, Mr. Gibson."

Wesley then began to explain his point of view. "At the bottom of the base, we set up two energy supply systems to be used in turns. Didn't Tony just complete the prototype of a pure energy source? We can install two here, whether it's an experiment, a modification, or an upgrade. If necessary, the three of us can come together."

"The reason why the ventilation system needs two systems is not only for safety, but also for internal problems. If a laboratory is in danger, such as an explosion, we will seal it and then use one ventilation system to emit the impact of the explosion, and then open another to breathe."

"Your Iron Army and my 'Jazz Arms' are also separated. We also need two supercomputers, one for JARVIS and one for my Elizabeth."

Tony Stark interrupted. "Elizabeth? The one you designed for SHIELD?"

"Yes, that is just a simplified version. I am still upgrading, so the system uses two, divided into two areas, and can control the other half or defend the other half when necessary. What do you think?" Wesley asked, and J.A.R.V.I.S. generated a rough outline.

Tony Stark nodded. "Security is clear, and it's challenging, and we seem to have a lot of research to do from the beginning. What about up there?"

"Bruce's territory is further up. His research needs a lot of large equipment, and he needs an absolutely strong room."

Bruce asked curiously, "Why?"

"Let him use it when he transforms. You have to learn to control it. Remember the tea I showed you? When you have nothing to do, do it. It will help you calm down. It's much better than practicing yoga."

"Controlling the Hulk is impossible. It might be possible if we just practice controlling emotions and heartbeats." Bruce Banner's confidence is obviously not enough.

"It's wrong for you to think that way. It's not right for you to separate the Hulk into an individual. You are Hulk, and Hulk is you. You are one, but you represent different versions of yourself. One is… cowardice. Don't mind me saying this, but you give me the feeling that you are very brave in the matter of right and wrong, but you can't handle other things well."

"Really?" Bruce Banner's voice was full of doubts.

"In other words, you and the Hulk belong to two extremes of reference. You are powerless, and the Hulk is violent and invincible; you are humble and polite, and the Hulk is irritable and irrational. You are so extreme to each other, but you are not separate, but one."

Bruce Banner looked at Wesley in disbelief and said, "You actually said that the two are one?"

"Yes, you share a brain, a heart, and a body. How can you be two different individuals? I have studied your information. Even if your father has passed something on to you, that thing will at most give you something, not create another creature. That is impossible. It just magnifies something. All you have to do is communicate and control. I think it will succeed."

A phone rang. Wesley picked up his own phone and had a hunch. He picked it up and answered. "Hello, this is Wesley Gibson."

"Wesley, it's an emergency. We need you to go to the mothership. Where are you now? I'll send Quinjet to pick you up." Phil Coulson sounded a little impatient. "By the way, we need the help of Dr. Bruce Banner. Bring him with you. And Tony Stark is also invited by you. Then send me the location."

Wesley didn't even have time to speak before the other party hung up, giving Wesley no chance to ask questions.

Frowning, Wesley called again, but Phil Coulson answered. Maybe he understood Wesley's personality. If he didn't answer, Wesley would keep calling.

"Any other questions?" Phil Coulson asked carefully.

"I say, Phil, you have to tell me what happened. How can I tell them about such a random thing?"
