Chereads / New Staff of S. H. I. E. L. D. / Chapter 105 - Suspected Adamantium

Chapter 105 - Suspected Adamantium

After Wesley received the specific requirements from SHIELD, he began the development of the smart program again. Later, he would send some internal modification requirements of the mothership to the engineers, who would immediately begin the modification.

S.H.I.E.L.D. was a little demanding. The smart program would control most of the area on the mothership. The number of modifications was a little large, but since S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't care, what did Wesley care about? And he had left himself a special back door to take over the entire mothership if necessary. Wesley was glad that this had happened.

It had been a week since he arrived at SHIELD headquarters, and Wesley had become familiar with the factory under the headquarters. While developing smart programs, he held a notebook and boarded the mothership from time to time to conduct some necessary tests. In the process, he must have become familiar with the engineers, workers, and security personnel here, and at the same time, he could distinguish where they belonged.

In this way, Wesley had one more task every night. He wrote out a list of the people he identified for the day and handed it to Phil Coulson, who was responsible for keeping it safe. When it was time to do it, the list would be released. But the problem was still huge. Wesley could not move fast enough to consume too much energy in his body. For this reason, the restaurant had to give him a terabyte every day.

Maria Hill and Wesley were rarely seen at the headquarters. They were busy with different things, but a week later, Wesley invited her to dinner again, and she did not refuse. Wesley felt that this was not bad. If he did not find a woman he liked in the future, he could wait until Maria Hill became the director before getting married.

In the morning, he passed through the security check at the bridgehead again. Wesley came to work at the headquarters as usual, and now he was working from nine to five. Wesley did not like this. He hoped that after the smart program was completed, he could find some interesting tasks.

As soon as he entered his studio, several armed soldiers gathered around a large wooden box. Phil Coulson stood to one side. "Phil, what is this?" Wesley asked when he came in.

"Of course it's what you want. It was delivered last night, but you're off duty. The director doesn't want to disturb your rest. Your work is the most important thing now," Phil Coulson said.

"Oh, is it necessary to have such tight security?"

"Of course. According to the expert analysis, this metal is comparable to Captain America's shield."

"Oh, so which is more powerful, his shield or the weapon I need?" Wesley thought of the spear and shield allusions. It would be interesting if they died together.

"That's hard to say. Okay, the thing is here. Take a look first, but don't affect the development of the smart program. Oh, and I heard from Tony Stark that you gave yourself a code name 'Jazz', right?"

"What about you and him? I haven't contacted him in a long time. Did he complain?"

"No, he and Miss Pepe Potts are in the heat of the moment, but I have registered your code name directly with SHIELD."

"Whatever. It was a fun thing to do back then. My armor is called 'Black Sir', and my weapon is called 'Jazz Armour'. This metal is used to enrich 'Jazz Armour'.

"Not bad. It suits your style. But it's a pity you're not a real knight."

"If I really were a knight, would I still be here?"

"That's true. We'll leave it here. If we need to keep it, we'll inform the security department to come and take it away." With that, he left with his men. Wesley walked over and opened the box. There were a lot of things inside, all rock formations wrapped in metal.

"Apple, does it look familiar?" Wesley asked.

"Comparing the database, the comparison is complete, similar to the Adamantium stone that appeared in Wolverine 1, the specific cannot be determined."

"Really? Isn't this Marvel Universe? How can there be something amazing? Don't tell me that mutants will appear in the future. In that case, Magneto can end Captain America, Iron Man, and me. I don't know if Thor's hammer is metal." Wesley smacked his lips and felt that something was wrong, as if the Avengers were not the X-Men's match.

"It shouldn't appear. So far, S.H.I.E.L.D. hasn't found any mutants. You have to know that S.H.I.E.L.D. is very powerful, and Hydra won't be unable to find them, so there's no need to worry. This metal is just a little similar in appearance, and the metal carried by meteorites is basically like this. It's hard to tell."

"That's true. Why don't we just call it Adamantium?"

"So how do you explain it? The origin and meaning of the name? Otherwise, those scientists won't let you go."

"Okay, forget I said that." Wesley shook his head helplessly. Those who haven't been in touch with it don't know. For example, the engineers of the space carriers will fight over a small problem, even if it's a wire circuit. "So, what do we do with the metal?"

"S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters can't handle it. They don't have metallurgy equipment here. The best place is Stark Tower. The equipment there is the most complete. It's more complete than Tony Stark's villa."

"Tony always likes to turn the place he lives into a factory. I wonder if he does it for convenience or if he has the otaku attribute?" Wesley sighed. He did not expect to have to look for Tony Stark again.

"You haven't learned to use your wealth yet. Just like your company, you haven't raised money yet. You just invited Tony Stark, and he only invested a billion dollars in the beginning out of friendship. If it were someone else, they wouldn't have invested so much money for you. There's no prospect at all."

"Who said so? How good is my project prospects?"

"That's because you know the direction of your original universe. People who aren't like Tony Stark wouldn't invest so much."

"Hmph, I'm not going to talk to you anymore. Let's continue to work. Tony's investment has made dozens of times more money." Wesley knew that he had always been a complete nouveau riche mentality. He would only make a move if he reached the maximum profit. A normal company needs conditions to go public, such as how much they make every year and how many years it will take for you to be allowed to go public. Fortunately, he doesn't lack start-up funds, and he doesn't lack follow-up funds, so he can wait until the profits are maximized, and this is to avoid the antimonopoly law.
