"So not only will you not be hunted after this operation, but you will be among the many responsible for repelling the Dark Lord as Ministry undercover…"
"Is there anything else you'd like to ask, Lucius?" Yvonne demanded, looking at them.
"No, Sir Harls, we have nothing more to ask…" Lucius Malfoy shook his head quickly, trying to please him. "It seems we have been too foolish to understand your meaning…"
Goyle, Crabbe, and the others were also ashamed. They had thought that Ivan Hals was trying to squeeze them dry of their value and then force them to their deaths. They did not expect him to have arranged everything and given them credit.
Of course, danger was unavoidable, and they needed to protect themselves from it… and only the living deserve the glory!
"Now that you all know what you're supposed to do, let's get to it!" Ivan threw a few bottles of the improved Polyjuice Potion at the Regulators. He had caught quite a few Death Eaters during the summer holidays, and this operation came in handy.
The Enforcer who received the bottle did not hesitate to drink the potion, then transformed into his Death Eater counterpart.
Together with Lucius and the others, they had eleven former Death Eaters, and the presence of so many familiar faces would greatly reduce their chances of exposure.
Ivan was certain that the Death Eaters imprisoned in Azkaban were unaware of Voldemort's defeat at Knockturn Alley.
Voldemort was, after all, very prideful, and would not go out of his way to tell Bella and the others such an embarrassing story, which meant that they did not know that he had captured a group of Death Eaters.
With this in mind, Ivan took out the last of the improved Polyjuice Potion and drank it. His body grew taller, his eyes became narrower, his nose was flat, and his head was bald.
"He's really ugly!" Ivan waved his wand and conjured a mirror. Looking at his strange body, he couldn't help but complain to himself.
Tom Riddle sure was hard on himself…
"Lucius!" Ivan called out, turning suddenly.
"Do you have any other orders, Sir Harls?" Lucius asked cautiously.
Yvonne didn't reply, but her gaze sharpened as she looked at him.
Lucius immediately realised his mistake and corrected himself. "Dark Lord…no, Master, what can I do for you?"
"Remember who you are from now on!" Ivan snapped, glaring at Lucius as he glanced around the room, his gaze sweeping over everyone below. "If anyone makes a mistake, I will not hold back!"
All the wizards present nodded in agreement. Lucius and the others were visibly shaken as they stared at Ivan in his black robes. They even had the feeling that they were actually facing Lord Voldemort…
"Then… let's do it!" Ivan said, then waved his wand and disappeared.
Macnair, Lucius, and the others also used Apparition.
… .
North Sea, on an island.
With a violent spatial fluctuation, two dozen figures appeared in front of the prison.
The seven Aurors on guard duty immediately noticed that something was wrong, but before they could raise the alarm, they were struck by a large number of spells and fainted.
"A place as important as Azkaban is guarded by so few people?" Yvonne asked, looking at the Aurors lying on the ground.
"The real guards are the Dementors, and the Ministry only sent a couple of Aurors to keep an eye on them to prevent further trouble," Macnair explained.
Had it not been for several previous riots by Dementors, there would have been even fewer Aurors stationed there, as few enjoyed such drudgery.
Ivan nodded, then looked up at the sky, where dark clouds were gathering, and there was a faint movement of something inside, and a few strange, black-cloaked figures could be seen drifting out of the prison windows and converging on one another.
"Dementors, they're coming!" Lucius cried, pulling his wand from his belt.
According to intelligence reports, Azkaban was guarded by nearly two hundred Dementors, a number of which could prove troublesome in a mass attack…
Macnair and the others were equally uncomfortable. Being surrounded by Dementors did not feel good, and a dark chill threatened to steal their lives.
Even Ivan scowled at the restless Dementors and snapped, "What are you all doing around here, forgetting our agreement? Do what you have to do!"
The Dementors floated around for a while, absorbing the emotions known as joy and seeming reluctant to part with it, but then a ball of white mist crashed into it and exploded in midair.
As soon as the blinding white light touched the Dementors, it began to corrode them like acid. The Dementors fled in all directions as if they had just remembered something.
Ivan couldn't be bothered with where the Dementors were going. They were a little slow on the uptake, so he didn't want to take them with him to attack the Ministry of Magic, even if he had the strength to do so.
"Let's go! Confringo ~! (exploding thunder)" Ivan raised his hand, and a dark red flame floated out, expanding into a four-meter-wide fireball in the wind, and hit the solid iron door ahead.
There was a great explosion and a great explosion that shook the island. The gates of Azkaban burst open and Ivan, along with Macnair and the others, charged through…
Stepping inside, Ivan was shocked to find the interior of Azkaban in ruins. It was dark and damp, with a foul smell, and the poorly tended earthen walls were pitted and rusted.
Woken up by the explosion, the prisoners dragged their tired bodies along the bars of their cages and poked their heads out, crying for help.
However, when they got a good look at Ivan, the wizards who were trying to save him looked as if they had been strangled by the Grim Reaper. Their faces were filled with panic and fear, and only one of them, who was in a complete mess, laughed hysterically and slammed his head against the door, screaming.
"Master! I knew… you would come to save us…"
