Chapter 752 - Fidelius Curse!

Ivan nodded at Sirius's words, but did not agree, and simply refused.

"Thank Professor Dumbledore for his kindness, but we have other things to do this summer, so I'm afraid we won't be able to come to your house…"

Ivan is well aware of how much Alicia dislikes Dumbledore and his friends, so it is difficult to imagine her with a member of the Order of the Phoenix.

It must have been very awkward.

Besides, there were too many things waiting for him in Knockturn Alley, which meant he could not take refuge in the Order of the Phoenix's safe house like Harry and the others.

Ivan's resolute response was unexpected.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione all looked at him worriedly and tried to console him.

Before they could speak, Ivan intervened. "Actually, you don't have to worry about our safety… Don't forget that I just fought off You-Know-Who. He can't do anything to me, and we have our own safe house!"

Sirius shook his head to himself; having fought in the battle, he could see that Ivan was no match for Lord Voldemort.

Sirius did not try to persuade him otherwise, as he could guess what Ivan was referring to when he mentioned the safe house.

At Ivan's insistence, Harry and the others gave up, except Hermione, who stepped forward and hugged Ivan.

"In that case, you must be careful during the summer holidays and remember to keep in touch with me!" the little witch said reluctantly.

"Well! You too…" Yvonne smiled back.

They held each other for a minute, until they saw Mr Granger walking towards them from the crowd.

Moments later, Ron and Harry were picked up by Mrs Weasley and the Dursleys.

Ivan stayed where he was until he saw Alicia, who seemed to be in a hurry and looked tired.

"Did something happen in Knockturn Alley?" Yvonne asked quickly.

"There have been some strange wizards there lately, and I've sent someone to investigate," said Alicia casually.

Yvonne frowned. This did not bode well.

"Have you chosen the location of the safe house?" Ivan asked again.

"Well, the underground fortress not far from the Wizarding Market is a good fit. It has three entrances and exits, and most importantly, it's large enough to store a lot of supplies. It also has a meeting room and a place to rest every day…" Alicia explained.

After looking for several locations, she decided that the Noether family's location at the Wizarding Market was the best place to go, although there were some drawbacks to this.

"That's it, then. Can't worry about it now!" Yvonne said. They had built the safe house for refuge, not pleasure, and it was worth sacrificing some comfort.

They talked their way out of the crowds and found a secluded alley where they could use Apparition to return to Knockturn Alley.

When Ivan returned to his senses, he was in the Wizarding Market.

Unlike the noisy, chaotic scene of the past, the Wizarding Market was deserted and deserted.

Ivan turned to look at Alicia, puzzled.

"To facilitate your spell-casting, I ordered them to stay away from here today!" said Alicia.

Ivan then realised that this was the first time he had used the Fidelius Curse. It was unknown if there were any taboos, so the fewer people who disturbed him, the better.

Following the route in her memory, Ivan and Alicia entered the house and turned the old oil lamp next to them, revealing a passageway.

The underground fortress had obviously been decorated. There was a carpet on the floor and witchlights hung at regular intervals, illuminating the long corridors ahead.

The walls were covered in intricate inscriptions, and many magical statues had been added to the entrances and corners. If intruders were detected, the fortifications would activate automatically, buying time for them to fight back or escape.

Ivan listened as Alicia told him about the changes in the fortress below as they headed into the meeting room.

Pushing the door open, Ivan went straight to the centre of the room, where Alicia suddenly asked, "Do you want me to leave?"

"Well, it's better to be careful!" Ivan said hesitantly.

Without further ado, Alicia turned and left.

Ivan then pulled out his wand, closed his eyes, and began to recite a long, awkward incantation.

The magic within him continued to surge, quickly spreading out in all directions as Ivan sensed it.

Soon, the entire fortress appeared in Ivan's mind, and more than half of his magic had been consumed.

This caused Ivan to worry that his choice of location would be too large, in case his magic suddenly ran out.

Fortunately, after the incantation was finished, the feeling of magic being pulled away gradually stopped.

Ivan breathed a sigh of relief, then opened his eyes and looked around. Everything was normal in the conference room. He had a vague feeling that something was different, but he could not say what.

It was just an extra location in his mind…

"Are you done?" Alicia asked Ivan as soon as he left the underground fortress.

Ivan nodded, then said abruptly, "Mom, do you remember where our safe house is?"

"Of course it was in…" Alicia started to reply, but then she stopped and muttered to herself, "Strange, I remember it very well. I even burned a few protective runes there the other day…"

The more she searched her memory, the more she couldn't remember, and even when Ivan tried to open the Chamber of Secrets in front of her, she couldn't see him, let alone walk inside.

Eventually, Alicia begins to question the existence of the safe house…

"I guess the spell worked better than I thought it would," Ivan said, sounding pleased.

Alicia gave him an angry look. "Tell me, where exactly is that place?"

"The safe house is located in the underground fortress of the Wizarding Market in Knockturn Alley, right in front of you!" Ivan said, pointing ahead with a smile.
